- On SportsCenter, Danny Green reacts to Zion Williamson scoring a game-high 40 PTS before leaving late in the fourth quarter when the Pelicans were tied with the Lakers. New Orleans would lose the game to Los Angeles, and the Pels will play on Friday for a chance to secure the West’s No. 8 seed.

Zion played well but hopefully he’s okay 😢 let’s be honest here the Pelicans let that 6th spot slip out, they should have never been in this position and put all the pressure on their shoulders.
Going up against AD and Bron is no easy task especially considering how Bron turns into a different monster in crucial games or in the playoffs
Story of being a Pels fan! 🏀🇬🇧
This really sucks. Zion probably best game of the season. Lakers got a little lucky. Plus Ingram benched for whatever reason the whole 4th qtr
He was playing poorly.
Ingram suck this game, the dude had no lift on his jump shots and all his attempts are difficult shots too.
I don't get how both CJ and Ingram were almost benched the entire 4th and then not have Jonas on the floor to go with AD while he did anything he wanted in the paint
@@TRINI818 Pelicans fan here. Listen to this, The Defending Champs have only been defeated 5% of the times in the first Playoff game. 95% OF THE TIMES THEY WON. You are a coach knowing this odds what do you do. ......We know the Lakers were trying to tank the game as well so we beat them to it. Hahahahaah! Zion and the rest will play fine against the Kings. Wait and see
@@TRINI818cj and bi combined for 20 with 38 attempts they were playing like g league players.
zion carried the pels the whole game but wasn't able to lift his own weight late in the game.
I am a Pelicans fan and if you didn't realise both teams were trying to sneaky tank the game. The script from the coaches is supposed to be followed. Lakers wanted to lose...We wanted to lose. Listen to this odds...Defending champs have only been defeated 5% of the times in Playoff first round. 95% of the times the Defending champs always win. You are a coach do you want to go up against those odds. We knew Lakers were trying to let us win even though our other players were playing badly....EXCEPT ZION! He got too close in the excitement and he had to be taken out. Hahahaha
He will play against the Kings and he will put up numbers. Watch this space
@@jojothepolyglot1866 lame excuse
A fitting end to their season
Lol.. no mention about the 29 free throws for the lakers?? Really? Of all the stats, you guys not mentioning lakers having free throws awarded to them the whole season including tonight's game.. wow
Damnit another 4 games of Lakers. Wanted to stop hearing about them
Zion is deciding as we speak to take off the feed bag. His spinny twirl thing and use of the glass is hard to stop. Maybe he is the only one that can stop him.
Zion bump hurt😅
But his gynecologist says it could be serious....
He's laughing because he really wants to tell y'all that the league did this BS. Go watch the "injury". He didn't look hurt. The refs blew the whistle and he already knew what time it was. Why y'all think he was stomping out like a mad 2 year old when he left the game? If he had a hamstring or groin pull, he would have a had a more stiff limp. Cmon people. I'm sure we've all tried to walk with a pulled muscle. Trust me, you're not going to be speed walking.
Part of the script
LeGoat
Finna be le swept
league so soft.. any hall of famer will play through it
Bird played through back problems
@@catdaddy2643 And swept Jordan twice
bro if he was pissed walking to the locker room he wouldnt have played through it, he had a good game too if he wanted to play through it he would’ve smh
Coming from a Celtics fan after what we did to Isiah Thomas players aren’t going to sacrifice their health for teams anymore
I think he wanted to but was told not to that’s why he was mad going back to the locker room.
Pelicans should've traded Zion instead of resigning him
I get why you said that but he is the reason why they was still in the game it was one of his best games of his career so far
Stop it. He was the only Pelicans of the starter who stepped up tonight.
Without him there is no playoffs.
Tell me you don’t know basketball without telling me you don’t know basketball
Are you dumb Zion was cooking he a beast his team never showed up Zion was cooking you dumb
Zion back in his usual self. Riding that fat train again.
