Loved the way you cut the bicycle ribbon. A woman after my own heart!! I would love it if you would list your supplies at the beginning of the video. I made this wreath right along with you and had to stop the video many times to prepare for the next step. Having everything ready would have been so much easier. I can’t wait for your next project!!!
Great idea Dianne! Believe it or not, I did show my materials in the video I posted yesterday. I'll make it a point to do that from now on, and to list the supplies in the description. Ok. Let me go list the supplies in yesterday's description. Have a great day!
Kay, this wreath is absolutely stunning!!! You are the first and only wreath maker who has used this technique and I love it. Thank you for this great idea!!💌 You are amazing in the way you very calmly explain what you are doing, which makes it so easy to try your methods.
Thank you so much Diane! I would love to claim this idea, but it's not mine. I found one other video on YT for the Monroe Triple Crown. I just really like it, and it makes such large, full wreaths! I really enjoy making these videos so I'm glad most people are able to follow me. Thanks for all the encouragement! See you soon!
Thank you so much Roberta! This technique got me thinking about other ways to gather mesh. Did you have a chance to see the way I gathered the mesh for my pumpkin wreath? ua-cam.com/video/XAfeFIQrPWA/v-deo.htmlsi=GtZpKHz5h2k08ZjS
Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful and I love all your techniques. I’ve never seen a wreath like that. I’ve seen so many of these, but not like that where it’s all roughly around it. Beautiful job, beautiful.
Thank you so much Lizanne! Although I have my own original designs, I learned this technique and I'm passing it on to others. I'm so glad you like it. If you have a chance to browse through my videos, hopefully you'll see more things you like. Have a great weekend!
Wonderful Emma! If you have any questions you can leave them here. I'm also going to post a video on Sunday, using this method (with some variations) using 5 inch mesh. See you again soon!
Gorgeous. I have never seen the gathering of the mesh. l really like the way it makes the mesh lay. I am with you about the way the print (bicycle) lays in one direction, but I never thought of cutting the ribbon like you did. I will be copying that idea, genius.
Thank you so much Kathryn! I blend together things I learn and then try to do my own color combination to make it my own. I'm so glad to hear you like your patterns going the same way. Most people don't care. Sometimes I wonder why I even see it. I guess you and I will be the only ones on earth with our patterns moving in the same direction! 😊
Thank you so much BJ! I try to explain things, but if you ever find something unclear, just leave a question in the comments. I'll do my best to assist. See you again soon!
Thank you Esther! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I have a new video today at noon, showing how I varied the triple crown wreath method (slightly) to make a bee wreath. I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you very much Linda! If you ever have any questions, please leave them in the comments. That helps me become a better teacher. I also take questions about other wreaths you've seen online. Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you so much Phyllis! Still, if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments. That helps me learn how to improve my instructions. Thanks for watching!
Thank you Patricia! 😊 I blend things I learn with different color combinations. I also released a video tonight showing how I made the bow. See you again soon!
Hello Kay....I just stumbled upon you and I must say I love this style of wreath. I've never seen this technique before and the way you take your time to explain and teach is wonderful. I also love how you are so down to earth...talking about your hands and the wrong cut. You could have edited that out or not bring up. I normally don't make comments on here but I had to give credit where credit is due. ❤️
Welcome Amanda!! Yes, I share the good, the bad, and sometimes the ugly truth about making wreaths. I want everyone to know that we're all learning together and everything isn't going to be perfect all the time, but we keep trying. I'm about to start my Fall wreaths, so stay tuned!
Thank you Jennifer! So glad you like it. There's a new video tonight at 7 PM EST, showing a Dollar Tree solar light hack made on a wreath frame. Let me know what you think of it.
Thank you Cathy! I like how it makes a really full wreath with less mesh. Did you see my $ Tree Bee Wreath (ua-cam.com/video/gv4jxbuzjNg/v-deo.html)? It uses this method for some of the wreath.
You are so welcome Helen! I hope you get to make one too. If you have any questions when you make it, just refer back to this video or leave a question here in the comments and I will do my best to assist.
I absolutely love this wreath. The colors are so cheerful. What is wonderful is it is really different from the ones I usually see. I am seeing more and more designs are using 10 inch mesh. Unfortunately I have bought many 6 in rolls because of the price. I try to figure out how to substitute. I am new to crafting so find it difficult to figure it out. Recently learned to use 3 layers when making poofs. I don’t know if it is possible to make this wreath without 10 inch mesh. Even if not following utube videos gives me company. Thank you.
Hi Cindy! Thanks for watching! Trying this with 6 inch rolls is an interesting thought. Let me see what I can come up with and I'll also try to start adding more designs using 6" mesh. Hhhmmm... Give me a couple weeks and I'll try to start incorporating them into my schedule. Thanks for the idea!
I bet this would make a beautiful hospital wreath for baby or wedding shower gift. When you were rolling up the ends how much were you rolling up...like 1/2 inch?
Hello Leslie. Sorry I missed your question. I hope you were successful with your wreath. Wired ribbon is not required byt bows hold their shape better when the ribbon has wire on the edges. Let me know how it turned out.
Thanks Mary! I've had the mesh a few years, but I think I got it at craftoutlet.com. Yes, the ribbon is what I've purchased from Sams Club the last few years. The bicycle ribbon I got on clearance somewhere. If you want to purchase the Sams Club ribbon from me, just let me know which one and I can list it in my Etsy shop. I sell it in 5 yard and 10 yard lengths. See you again soon!
@@KaysCreativeHome oh ok I buy all my poly burlap and ribbon from Craft Outlet and I will definitely be getting my deco mesh there and Hobby Lobby. Thanks so much I really appreciate it and really enjoy your videos your work is so beautiful.

Hello duhhuh58! The mesh in the first 2 layers I purchased years ago, but I think it came from Craft Outlet. The 3rd layer is from Hobby Lobby's Spring line. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Hello! I am using deco poly mesh for the 1st and 2nd rows. Sad to say, it does still fray, so I turned under the ends so they would be underneath the curl of the mesh, and hopefully avoid more contact with your hands. This doesn't prevent fraying but it does help.
Hi Lisa! I think the info is in the video. If not, I'll be making another one soon and I'll be sure to summarize the info in the next video. Hope that is helpful!
Thank you your wreaths are beautiful. You are a great teacher. Very calm and explain everything fully.

Yes Amanda, about 1/2 inch. You just want to turn in under enough so that it won't just straighten out again.
Does the ribbon need to be the wire? I’m definitely going to try this wreath tomorrow. Thanks for doing this.
