Good evening Another very beautiful day with magnificent shooting. The 28 gauge is really an excellent compromise for hunting pigeon at the post. Thanks for the video
Great job Ant! Textbook stuff. Bring them in close, and kill them clean. (I hope you are wearing some of those whizz-bang in-ear defenders. It looks like you aren't using any hearing protection in the vid?) If not..... don't risk it matey!!!! You will pay the price over time. Take care and keep up the great work matey! TTFN.
Thanks John, I normally use moulded ear plugs but I had left them in my truck on that occasion, that's what happens when you have got a long walk and are eager to get at the pigeons 👍
Hi Anthony, great footage and really well put together mate. The gun shot sound doesn't appear to put of incoming birds, do you find this is the case most of the time? Do you think there is a time and a place for the hushpower use I.e over winter crops when the birds are heavily flocked up? What's your experience
Glad to hear that you like the video, personally I don't think that the noise makes that much difference to the birds coming in unless they are already close by, the hushpower is useful around the cattle sheds and near houses 👍
Too right I’ve enjoyed that
Spot on mate with your shot placement
Good evening

Thanks for the video
Thank you, pleased you liked the video, the 28 is a great gun to shoot pigeons with 👍
It shows why you tidy up the pattern, birds came in better after each tidy. Well shot , a few R and Ls and long shots 👏👏
Thanks David, can't beat a good tidy up, only takes a few minutes and can make a lot of difference 👍
Looks like a terrific day & a good job for the farmer.
It was a cracking little afternoon and the farmer was happy too 👍 win, win.
Nice shooting the patch in front of you looks hammered no wonder the farmer is concerned
Cheers bud he was concerned but hopefully the crop will get a chance to recover now 👍
@@shootingwithanthony3496 that’s why we do what we do
If I’d realised it featured the 28g I’d have watched it sooner - great shooting Anthony.
Thanks Graham but it has only been uploaded a couple of days, you couldn't have watched it much sooner 👍
👍
Good shooting Anthony damn good shooting some good left and rights
Anthony , what powder and shot are you using in the 28 bore home loads. It looks as good a range as 12 bore
Hi, I am using hodgdon lil gun powder and 6.5 lead shot, it will kill as far as a 12 you just need to be more accurate 👍
Rah you have some shooting skills
👍 Sometimes it doesn't go to plan 🤷♂️
Great hunt and video capture...
Thank you 👍
Just incredibly nice shots.
Thanks 👍
Q buenas cazerias amigos saludos por buenos videos de caza👍🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨

Good O matey!
Take care of those tabbies. Hearing damage doesn’t give you any warning until it’s too late. 🙀
Keep up the brilliant job matey!
TTFN.
Nice video, as yours all are. Which over and under 28g are you using in this video? Which specs? Thanks
Thank you, I am using a browning 525, with 30 inch barrels and 3/4 and full chokes, using 24g 6.5s cartridges 👍
Thank you so much for your feedback!
@@cesarebenanti3156 my pleasure, any time, thanks for watching my videos 👍
Good vid 👍
Thank you 👍

Of course you shoot class
nice left and right there - thought you was going to fluff it up, but you nailed em - nice shot on the right too :) Do you homeload for 12 as well ?
Thank you, I only load for the 28 gauge at the moment but looking at loading 3'' steel for the 12 👍
What chokes are you useing
Great video pal, some testing shots taken there, is the 28 a smaller gauge than a 20 bore? 🔫
Thank you, yes the 28g is smaller than the 20g 👍
Show meu amigo
What shot number are you shooting?
24 grams of 6.5s 👍
You have a lot of wood pigs, we have very few (
That's a shame, where are you?
جميل جدا
Friend, I understand the harm of wood pigs for agricultural fields. But pigeons now have offspring nests.
They breed most of the year so we must keep on top of the numbers whenever we can 👍
Thanks for the info. Do you have winter?
Are you paid money to shoot birds?
@@oleg6284 no problem 👍 we don't really get any proper winters, hardly ever gets below freezing and they breed in towns and cities where its warmer.
@@oleg6284 no we are not paid and often people pay to do the job.
