This video brought a big smile to my face. How you described the shower was magnificent. We Africans take the view for granted. It takes someone from outside our communities to make us realise what a beautiful continent we have. The coconut, the small animals on the streets, the nature, the washing with the hands, the freshness of the fruits and fruits, the lack of haste in the villages. In short, the uncomplicated village life. Things we don't always appreciate. The simplicity of it all. We are a rich people constantly being made to believe we are poor to provide new clients/markets to the insatiable hunger of capitalism and greed.

Indeed, you expressed it very well. I loved the relaxed life, immersed in nature, constant sound of birds all around. Connection and peace and simplicity ❤️

What a beautiful video, it was so nice to watch you and time flew by so quickly, that I was sad when the video ended already. You are so talented to cut and film your videos! It feels so authentic and inspiring:) how did you actually find/ get to know the place you stayed and worked at?

You are so kind 🥹🙏🏻 I remember just typing ‘kora lessons Senegal’ on google and this popped up and then I texted the owner and said I was a low budget traveler, so she proposed the work exchange which was great!
