When the 9 ball goes the same path on golden breaks, most cases something may be wrong with ball-racking
The Killer, Joshua Filler, helping others feel better about about their soda addiction. And one of my favorite players to watch.
Lol! Don't talk about my diet Pepsi!
Aspartame causes alzheimer. Quit while you still can.
SVB gonna need to play better going forward, that's for sure. Hey, big thanks to the Matchroom team for these great events! Fantastic coverage.
He’s so clumsy , it’s like he doesn’t know what he’s doing , if he plays like this with filler , he’s gonna kill him for sure
@@franskgwaxh8247 yeah, SVB is so clumsy that he has 5 world championships
@@franskgwaxh8247 19:20 totally clumsy
Dear matchroom. i just read the event rules and there is no info about the change in rule ''8.18 Miscue'' for this event. According to the WPA rules, sanji did not foul but the referee ruled it as a foul anyway. If you you change the standard wpa ruleset that you have promised to comply with, than you should write the rule on the appendix. Anyway it has been good event, the harder break makes it more intresting.
Crazy thing is, Jason didnt do much wrong. Filler in amazing form
At 17:10 that guy....sanjin acted like he didn't understand why that wasn't a foul. I'm sure a lot of people don't know why that was a foul. He wasn't trying to jump but he miss hit and accidentally jumped the cue ball over the one. So it would turn be considered a jump shot. It's a foul because in order to properly execute a legal jump shot you must hit above center on the cue ball.
Thank you for explaining, I know a scoop shot is a foul
Even though
He contacted his object ball and a rail afterwards.
So if you attempt a draw shot and hit a little too low and the cue ball jumps up, is that considered a foul, even if you contact your object ball and a rail afterwards?
Absolutely right ! He tried to aim low for a backspin instead his bridge was too high thats what made the cue ball jump and clearly its a foul
Yep. Chipping or scooping the cue ball is a foul. Trying to put to much draw and mis cued
@@MrPat1953 I the league that I play in it would not considered a foul unless he intentionally tries to jump the cueball with a scoop which obviously wasnt the case. So if I was the ref, i would have called it a legal shot with my set of rules. The EU Open appear to have different rules with regard to that matter thats wy Sanjin was so confused.
@@Danny0011100 in upa rules it's considered a doublecue
Filler didnt celebrate like he usually does cause he respects eagle eye so much one of the best potter and sick cue power
Celebration means the game meant a lot. Its actually a comp;ement. He's not a robot. he has emotions and i like that. just let him be
@@kylaahipa2345 i have nothing against filler celebrating😄 just the fact jayson always comes little short in these big events and filler knows it but he didnt celebrate cause jayson is his mosconi cup teammate and he knows how much shawn practice and how good he rly is
@@joulupukki1607 i get you. beating a team mate who you respect sucks. your wording was off but i agree with you 100%
filler usually celebrates winning hill-hill or tough matches in general. this wasn't tough..
@@pechinma true but if u know the context of this match u know it was cause shawn been strugglin to win anything this year and they good friends. And filler always celebrates when there aint many players left in big tournament like in this video
that's the sharpest Filler has been so far in this tournament. i can't see anyone handling him if it continues.
Filler lost even before you wrote your comment!
@@DBZ-Mousa i get that you like to pee in other people's cheerios, but your comment doesn't really address mine.
apparently he has some trouble facing super Mario
Sanjin's fouls holy crap
Rack 8 shot on the 8 by Filler was one of the greatest shots of the year for sure.
@7:10 😂 you welcome.
It’s a nice cross bank with some positioning Luck 🍀.
No, it wasn't.
It's an odd feeling I get while watching a legend like SVB struggle.
Bad call by ref at 17:30. It was not an intentional scoop. Therefore not a foul.
For anyone that thinks Sanjin’s miscue was a foul explain why in the 2005 World Championship finals when Wu was up 8 to 6 and again when Wu was up 9 to 8 that those miscues by Wu weren’t fouls? The ref got it wrong at the European Open. I read the WPA rules in its entirely back in 2001 when I started watching pool and knew that this was not a foul.
Filler was just unstoppable, he came prepared, shame he lost against Marco
Shaw was about to cry, he got well and truly thrashed!
Filler looking on point
17:12 The referee made a big mistake by calling this a foul. The player did not "intend" to scoop under the ball. It was a miscue that caused it, therefore under WPA rules, it is completely legal since it came back and contacted the 1 ball and then something hit a rail. This has been discussed and proven to be a wrong call in other videos.
Jayson Shaw had absolutely no chance against Joshua Filler.
Thanks for the spoiler
This is a game dude! One day is yours and one day is against to you

5:47 Well that was worth a chuckle.
The beginning is Gold LOL
I guess the people who came up with the rule book had no idea Sanjin could come up with a dilemma like this.
The whole intentional/non-intentional thing if doing a miscue caused quite a stirrup
This new breaking rule reduces the beauty of the game, to many golden brakes and scratches
35:16 the SCcRATCH KING 😬
Can matchroom explains what happened today? why there was no live stream? What about people who paid to watch the event ?
why did they change to a wooden rack instead of a racking template mid tournament? enlighten me pls
because someone let them. those things just get in the way. they aren't worth the benefit they provide.
Matchroom has said that they do this to make the break more unpredictable towards the end of the tournament in the higher stake matches.
For the giggles, seems like
Those rules were announced before the event started.
At 6:10 they return the 9 ball to the starting position?
Changing to a wooden rack mid tournament is such a bad move. It’s clearly not being used right and is having an unfair impact on the outcome of a lot of racks. Good for TV, bad for the sport.
Seems like an oversight on Matchroom’s part. In the old break format, the wooden rack made breaks more random. With the new break format, the template break is made random and it seems the wooden break causes more predictable 9ball movement (especially with the ref in this match).
Just like the magic rack forcing the 9 ball in the same spot after every break!!
@@onthesnap4606 The new break format has them breaking from a smaller break box more in the center. As a result, breaks using the template have been unpredictable. Lots of dry breaks and clusters, push shots and safeties. Only a couple of players have seemed to figure out a moderately consistent break.
This new break rule seems to just allow more golden breaks to happen
Two lefty killer in pool
2:30 this question and thoughts came to my mind how possible a double Golden Break is or what is the percentage of this possibility a person makes a golden break and then just two in a row can't believe it
On what table size do they play on? 8ft or 9ft?
What jump cue Filler uses?
Alguien que me explique por qué le dijeron que era foul a sanjin? no entiendo inglés, y no entiendo al 100% el billar
34:25 world champ here everybody. Lol. Jk. Now when I miss a ball in hand shot I won’t feel so bad.
So, we traded the wing ball for the 9 ball?
Funny how first game was back to back golden breaks and second back to back scratches
It wasn't foul of Sanjin.
What happen w rack 3 guys?? Anyone can explain for me plsss
Thx all ❤️❤️
I love Joshua 😍 although 😞
SVB🥰
He sucked this match but we love him.
Wow rack 12 though!
Was that a scoop shot or was that a legal jump that they called foul they look like a legal jump
It looked like a legal jump tbh. It didn't seem at all like a scoop shot/double hit. Seemed like a single hit especially since the cue was elevated. They called foul incorrectly, thinking it was a typical draw shot that became a scoop. Wrong call imo.
Scooping indicates the side of the cue stick touched the ball. unless hit from above, there is no way to lift the ball by hitting vertically. 100% foul.
@@residuevideos you are correct all miscues are a double hit and with your logic should be a ball in hand foul but they're not because it comes down to intent when I learned about this it didn't make sense but that's the way the rules are it has to do with intent if you intend to jump over the ball with a double hit it's a foul but if you don't intend to it's not
@@jamesbrinson7488 I didn't mention double hit. Hitting the ball with the side of the cue is a foul.
17:34 Still don't understand why that's a foul
It’s a scoop shot. Although unintentional, it was a scoop and therefore foul
1:22 what is the name of the music?
Darude Sandstorm
“Fully Charged and Ready to Go” SATV Music
Filler and Shaw got a little to cute.
golden break match & the foul break match.
What is causing that many Golden Breaks?
Wooden rack is causes gaps between the racked balls
So before this event, Matchroom decided to move the whole rack up (you can search their vid about rule change). I tried this rack several times and had the nine ball always somewhere around the corner pocket. Just because the placement makes the rack easier for a golden break to occur.
@@wildansyuhada_ thanks
@@jimthegamer1339 thanks
We have play with 9-ball on spot for a decade in Sweden, and with the Magic-rack the 9ball stays around the spot. If proper racked.
Mi jugador filer la makina del billar
Bet not as many players will be breaking with their playing cue.
Filler comedy 🤣
what was that where Sanjin P jumps the one and ref said foul? why, anyone know pls/
You are not allowed to jump over the intended object ball.
His miscue turned into an illegal "Scoop Shot". Hope this helps.
scooping under the ball like sanjin did is illegal, to jump a ball you need to hit down on it not “scoop” it.
Edit: I’ve looked it up, only intentional “scoop” shots are fouls, unintentional miscue like what happened to Sanjin was supposed to be legal.
Unfortunately, Marcel made a mistake here. Only intentional scooping is a foul. He is a snooker referee and obviously some differences are still not known to him
Wasn't a foul to me
I hate to see all these empty seats I'd happily fill one of them
What prevents you from doing so?
How many golden breaks in this match, you spoiled the whole tournament 😅 table 2 on your channel no commentating no even shot clock I can't see it in the screen.
Filler wins and van boening wins
Good 👍 filler
In morra's case Karl , he is an ambidextrous which mean a person who's born with the ability to be able to use both hands almost perfectly.. its not just to play pool..
I understand lot of players can play pool with either both..
In ambidextrous case , they can do things with left and right almost equal..
Sanjin was so bad luck in this match
With the new racking and break box, I think golden breaks need to be changed to a 9 ball spot and option to shoot or push out.
👍
Shane match is a disgrace to pool....either one of these jokers needs to be this far in this tournament!

@@residuevideos you said that right!! Lol

@@tomichambliss8051 Is envious of someone who chokes... no im Is envious of Joshua filler a real player
@@jaynosowsky9708 😶
That miscue jump should not be a foul. It’s only a foul to do that to avoid an obstruction.
You are wrong. Scoop = foul. No way to lift a ball hitting like that. He scooped.
@@residuevideos no. you are wrong. only accidental scoops are considered a foul. there was no logic reason for him to try and get over the objectball with a scoop into the rail to make contact with the objectball after the rail?! so there is no thinking required to see that it was not on purpose and hence no foul! Scoop is not equal to a foul!!! read the damn wpa rules!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone explain for me why Sanjin made a foul when he miscue against SVB, please?
It is foul because of jump, you have to kick the white ball from the top and not from down, that why was foul.
When you kick the ball from down is like double kick some people say.
lỗi 2 gậy,lùa cơ(đầu cơ và bi chủ chạm nhau 2 lần liên tiếp) ví dụ như mấy ng mới chơi lấy gậy đánh xúc bi lên để nhảy ấy thì là lỗi
Nine shouldn’t count in the bottom pockets on the break. It’s too easy for these guys.
It’s only easy because the knob racking can’t get the balls below the 9 all froze. Matchroom likes this nonsense for some reason. Happened in other huge events this year, so they’re well aware of the issue.
@@stefan3225 To be fair it is bloody tough to get the balls to sit tight on these tables without the magic rack. They keep rolling apart.
those were flukes, believe it or not. they aren't a normal occurrence.
@@spartanical call the nine then. Even on the break.

Some people love childish, arrogant, disrespectful players like filler it's their mentality that draws them to this type of character with very little class.
You totally right, but Jason also is very arrogant I like Shane better filler is playing on lucky like he does not care.
because hes nt a stoic means he's childish. filler congratulates players when they play well. few pros do that because of ego. let killer be and stop your immature rants that display a from of jealousy.
