Thanks, This was helpful!
Glad you enjoyed it!
These are fabulous.
When they are done, do you glue the top to the back earring so they are one piece?
I usually don’t glue them. I just let them dangle. But if it’s something you want to do go for it.
@@littlecraftnest thatnks so much for getting back to me so quickly.
Love It❤️
Thanks!
How has the 1/16 bass wood been working with intricate designs like these?
Hi love your beautiful work . And can you please tell me the bottom color Veneer
The bottom is walnut and the top is maple. Both were directly from Cricut. The walnut is currently out of stock on the Cricut website. Here is my affiliate link for the maple cricut.pxf.io/c/3575984/1253600/15311?prodsku=2007068&u=https%3A%2F%2Fcricut.com%2Fen-us%2Fmaterials%2Fmaterial-type%2Fmaker-only-materials%2Fwood%2Fnatural-wood-veneer---maple%25C2%25A0%2F2007068.html&intsrc=PUI2_9491
Thank you so much 💓
Hi! Can you share some setting for it to cut through? Having he same problem as Debbie. Some are cutting through but most aren’t :(
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty. Check out the conversation under Debbie’s post where I talk about the settings. You can turn up the pressure if you need to. My thoughts are that not all wood veneer is created equal and the thickness of the material may very in different spots. You can also try lightly sanding rough or thick spots before cutting. I hope you’re able to get it to cut right for you.
@@littlecraftnest adjusted the settings! Got it to work. :) thank you!
I’m so glad! That’s great to hear. Have fun!
@@littlecraftnest actually…another question. Is it normal for the blade to no sit flush after the first cut? For some reason my blade moves up?
How many passes does the machine make using the veneers. I attempted to make earrings and ran it through twice, but still did not get it cut through.
My maker did 4 passes, which worked out well. It should do 4 passes automatically if you selected natural wood veneer. Also make sure you are using the black deep point blade. If your machine is not automatically doing 4 passes let me know and I can tell you how to edit your settings.
@@littlecraftnest mine did 4 passes and I ran it through a second time and it still did not cut completely. And I am using the deep cut blade.
Sorry it’s not working for you. I have never had a problem. My only suggestion would be to double check settings. After clicking on Make it - Browse all material- at the bottom click Material Setting - scroll down to Natural Wood Veneer and make sure the cut setting is at 335 and 4x passes. If it still does not seem to work you could call Cricut Support. I hope you can get it to work. It can be so frustrating when I project doesn’t go as expected.
@@littlecraftnest I will look at the settings. I’m sure it is doing 4 passes. I also put more pressure and that didn’t help. I really have a goal of making earrings! I’ll keep trying.
I did it with woodglut woodworking plans.
