    I work there as a driver like the guy in the vid. Most of us drive considerate and within the 20mph limit set by the airport. I’ve parked tens of thousands of cars at silver zone and only very occasionally see another driver speed

    Hi Rob. This is not an isolated incident in Silver parking. In 2017 we were left with a broken suspension to get home with on a car that had just been through an MOT. They denied all responsibility for both our car and another customer's near the same time, and tried to pretend the cars were just 'muddy'. We've never left keys with anyone since.

      I just got back from Budapest and I left my e30 with these muppets, my tracking is now off centre, personal belongings have been moved inside the car and to top it off it won’t start. Also the car was covered in mud! Never use these d”cks again

      I have worked there as a driver since 2017 on and off and there’s no way your suspension was broken on site. We only go up to 20mph and nearly all flat, it’s just physically impossible. Like with yours, we have customers believe we broke their car when it was shot anyway, and just because someone drove their car they assume it was them rather than coincidence

      @@jamie123b 'Most of us'. Okay. Our car's suspension was also broken 'in' the silver car park just after an MOT leaving us to try to get home. They must take them off site like the cheap places. Maybe you don't. We are not liars.

      @@user-ve2dc3rc9x no we don’t take them off site, never in the 7 years I have been there has any car been taken off site. The computer allocates them a blocking row on site and that’s where us drivers take them. Your coil spring may have broken while it was at silver zone, but it doesn’t mean it was the drivers fault. It clearly was very very close to failing when you arrived, but since it hadn’t snapped by that point you assume it was fully our fault when in reality it just coincidentally broke during your holiday because it was in bad condition before you arrived. You are jumping to conclusions, you would have to drive at high speed over a 1 foot deep pothole to break a good condition spring, and even then the wheel would buckle before the spring fails as the spring is designed to absorb such impacts. It was not the drivers fault your poor condition car failed on them, as much as you want to blame someone else. My friends car coil spring snapped a few weeks ago, it happened on their normal commute from work. They didn’t mistreat their car, it just happens sometimes with old springs on older cars

    This happens at all these airport carparks.

    It has just happened to my car too, through another parking company at Bristol airport meet and greet.
    A fully cracked windscreen, 2 broken brake control arms, bulge in a tyre and an engine that now holds pressure due to a failed rocker cover… over £3000 to repair.
    70miles driven approx and all sport modes left turned on.
    Company responsible took 3 weeks to reply and are denying all claims. Any advice?

      I went directly to dave Lees who is the ceo . It helped that I had video footage it left him no where to go and he had to cough up basically . I would go to the newspapers I got £750 for my story . Google the ceo of Bristol airport his email is online . Good luck I hope you get it sorted

    I just used this place. I don’t know how they drove my car. But they moved the seat, the angle and the lumber support. They also messed around with the air con settings. It was as if they deliberately left it in a shit state

    • @dna9838
      @dna9838 6 місяців тому

      If you're parking somewhere that involves them moving your car how can you expect them NOT to adjust the seat to their body shape and size, adjust mirrors, fumble with the air con when the car starts to mist up.? 🤷‍♂️

    • @jonathanwhitmore421
      @jonathanwhitmore421 6 місяців тому

      @@dna9838 they only moved it around the car park. I doubt they actually looked in the mirrors. And are you seriously saying that they needed to move the lumber support?!

    • @dna9838
      @dna9838 6 місяців тому

      @@jonathanwhitmore421 just saying it's to be expected that someone paid to drive your car around will adjust things. They might be 7ft or 4ft with back problems. Sometimes these people move them off site by some miles. Even on the same car park would still need to be comfortable enough to control the car safely.
      Tbh I try to avoid this kind of parking because of potential damage by some muppet driving it so annoyance with seat adjustment is a bit minor factor by comparison.

    The car in front was being driven pretty quickly too. Disgraceful. I would never leave my car there after seeing this!

    Just read about this on the news! Total disregard for others property! Cold engine, driving like that! How many others have their cars treated like this? What was the outcome? Sacked at minimum I hope! Police prosecution? Dangerous driving? I think they should be forced to buy you a new car!

      It's on private property (Bristol Airport Silver Zone parking) so the police wouldn't be interested - definitely a disciplinary matter though! I'm worried now as I'm booked to park there in a couple of days time so tomorrow will be dashcam testing time...

      Yes it's shocking . I believe the guy driving has been sacked, police wasn't interested due to it being private land . Only thing I've been offered is a refund on my parking . Free 7 days parking 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and they will refund any costs I've incurred due to scratches and diagnostics . Still not good enough but it's a start
