Demba Njie. I thought that our history was different but now that I've seen things going on on UA-cam and Africa I see now that you guys have been going through the same thing that Americans were going through. They did the same thing in South Africa during apartheid. Hell I didn't even know anything about apartheid until Mandela had already been locked up for 25 years. A famous African proverb states that "he who learns, teaches." That is exactly what your videos do. It teaches us. As a Cameroonian, from Bamenda, I am learning a lot about Africa from an African American. Thank you!
My Ph.D is in Research Psychology, and I live in Seattle. Originally from Nigeria and still very strong Igbo man, and I think you have a lot to teach us in Africa. When it comes to the idea of how to be creators of our own realities, you got that. Kindly, make it easy for an average Gambian to understand how to go from absolutely nothing to the point of doing something they would be proud of. You should be forming a coalition with the Government of Gambia on how to teach African people to do for themselves. Make the contact for the sake of the poor Africans who still believe the pastors. The pastor thing is not working and we all know it.
I think the same. Many people in Africa don't know and understand the deep reality of the system we live in. And most are still naïve like nothing did happen in our history. I never understood this.
@Whitney Titus Not really, you have to know that in Africa we share information with each other. As a matter of fact, this is one reasons we do very well in the United Staes. Haven't you noticed that African nurses always bring more of their friends to the same hospitals. And don't be surprised that a lot of them went to the same nursing school as well. We know that as a group, you can only share what you know even if some find it offensive. In fact because they are African Americans, the locals will listen to them before they listen to their own fellow citizens back there.

I’ve traveled to Africa many times. Never considered Gambia, 🇬🇲until subscribing to your channel. You’ve opened my eyes on so many possibilities. I will visit Gambia one day because of y’all. Thank you for being so awe inspiring. 🙏🏽
Don't relinquish your American citizenship. Your ancestors built America and you have also paid taxes into the system. Africa is your homeland. Get your dual citizenship and enjoy the benefits you have earned from both sides.
Now if they give us reparations I say take it and leave . If we did that collectively Africa would BOOM within the next two decades . Otherwise those reparations are going to go right back to the US government in taxes . People still think reparations is a far fetched subject . Get into position . Make a PLAN. This is our inheritance. And it’s COMING .
LivingToLearn I said the same thing, but I don’t think everyone will do it. I would love to see every black person in the U.S leave and go to Africa. That would be wonderful. The main problem is the lack of education & the negative images they’ve always shown & portrayed Africa to be. The don’t want us to know because they can’t afford for us to leave, meanwhile they’re over there vacationing & living it up
Rene 1111 We can start by establishing organizations that help fund and bridge African Americans (especially children in high school or college) to visit the motherland. An experience like that is life changing. THOSE are the people who will change the narrative . I follow many bloggers and you tubers whose work is doing the same. Before only “they” showed us Africa , now WE show our people Africa .
Rene 1111 pretty much . My sister is passionate about working with African American boys but she wants to move to Ghana. And I said to her it doesn’t mean you abandon the people you’re called to you find a way to bring them along. So that’s where the idea came from. We need more bridges between the US and Africa.
You are both so inspirational. I have lived in the UK since I was a baby and really want to retire in west Africa. Things are getting worse for us here and we just need to live. I am going to come to Gambia as soon as airports open and will come and explore it. If I like it, I will then plan to sell up my assets in the UK and move to Gambia. My family are East Africa but as long as I am in West Africa, I am sure I will be happy.
Outstanding both of you keep spreading your message I'll admit some of my fears of uprooting are mental the biggest being the fear of the unknown but the known is not cutting it anymore it's time for a change. Continue to be a beacon shine bright ❤

Then the African Union should implement some initiative to encourage some repatriation of Africans in the Diaspora. But as Ricky stated they must first acknowledge that we are apart or are Africans and entitled to piece of the motherland.
No. We don’t need nobody to tell us nothing! Real talk!! It’s ours and we need to understand that. Africa is our God given right. We are Africans period.
The African Union recognizes the diaspora, the continent is divided into six regions, and the diaspora is the sixth region, research it, the diaspora needs to take advantage of this aggressively

Love the raffle deal. That's so cool. Please visit the Gambia Academy of Music and Culture and give the kids and Sona Jobarteh greetings from the Bahamas
Hi guys am a new fan!! On your channel wow you guys are dope I was in the Gambia in 2008 I love it I was in Banjul!!! I just got of the phone too my friend in Gambia I told him to go the for business he from Freetown... I live they before my parents are Jamaican... I live in the UK me and my daughter are coming early next year to look at business we can start doing.... Am fed up and things are getting worse in the UK...... Please keep your great videos coming it helps a lot for what to expect..... Enjoy are mother land.... See you in 2021
I am proud of you guys.
LivingToLearn right. I’m planning to take a trip there myself hopefully in the near future. Would that be a non-profit organization?
Stay put where you’re at. You took the right decision, especially in investing in land. He who owns the land owns power.
Outstanding both of you keep spreading your message I'll admit some of my fears of uprooting are mental the biggest being the fear of the unknown but the known is not cutting it anymore it's time for a change. Continue to be a beacon shine bright ❤
But you guys must visit Ghana 🇬🇭. I will volunteer to take you on a tour we love u 😘
Am from gambia. Happy to have my brothers and sisters back home keep the good job. I love your positive energy ✌
I want to travel to Gambia to visit because I’m interested in purchasing land and building there. I would love to create a group trip with like minded people who have this same interests. Also, it would be great to have this group meet with the B.A.G. family.
Let’s do it
@PLEZI LAKAY I’ve created an email address for communication. It’s comingtogambia@gmail.com
I will contact you via email ... 😉
I would love to join the group and take a trip to Africa.
@Ms Israel send me an email to comingtogambia@gmail.com
I am glad to have found your channel. This is something that has been on my spirit for a few years. I am researching as I know nothing of our ancestral land. I know I want my family to experience life and help our people.
On my way to build a hertiage for my children, help build The Gambia, and to live my last day breathing .
I love your family, I love the union between you both. God bless you and may your dream come true. You both work hard and u will sure succeed. Your whife is soo sweet. Please give her some water to drink aswell😀😀😀❤️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
SJM is just blessed .
Gambia river is about 400km but which area?
Love the song also your beautiful family must love from Chicago
i recommend keeping you us citizenship its very difficult to travel to the US ( to visit family ) if you don't.
I admire & enjoy listening & watching. Congratulations.
Serious thoughts. Well said. Word of advice: keep the U.S
citizenship. It is a strategic advantage!
Exactly. The best thing they have from that country. That passport get them into every country in the world and support from the embassies. Use it to build and take advantage of that.
Agree I’d prefer dual citizenship just to freely visit other countries unrestricted and visit extended family
Barbudo. When it comes down to it and we start leaving America and coming to Africa America is going to feel the crunch they are going to feel the crunch of us leaving and going to Africa and they're going to be others from other races of people that are going to follow us because you know what Africa is going to be on and Poppin it is. Is going to be the business epicenter
Right.... 💯💯
@@BB-yh5ly Right if BG want to vaccinate with chip but not taking any so the gov will make it mandatory we better pray and act so they do not otherwise there maybe travel restrictions!
You two are amazing!!! 👏🏿🔥
I love 💘 my beloved Chicago, but I don't love the hells of North America 🇺🇸...I just received my 5 yrs Gambian visa and I already had Ghanaian visa, so I will be visiting The Gambia 🇬🇲 once u.s. lift international flights ✈️. I will see you guy very soon BAG family.
Don’t return to the America’s..... Destruction is coming to them!
@@Aeon1019 yes, I feel that, however I have an great niece 5 and nephews10 & 11, so I'm the only woke African in my family who will be returning to mother Africa, so hopefully I will be able to convince their mothers to let me bring them eventually.

Thank you so much!
I'm planning on getting dual citizenship when I move to Senegal just for financial gain, I plan to keep a stream of income coming and keep my property
For your personal and selfish Financial gain??? Or investing in Africa to develop it and live harmoneously in the continent?
@@mmmotives7452 if you must know how I plan to spend my money...it's to provide for my Senegalese children, husband and extended family. I always spend my money with the descendants of Africans even while living in the States. Senegal doesn't need my development or investment, everyone there is doing just fine without my little American $. American Blacks on the other hand are struggling a lot more and I will definitely reach back to lend a hand to my tribe or any decendants of African chattel slavery.
I absolutely LOVE your videos. I would seriously love to visit Gambia one day soon. When I get there, I'd love to meet you all.
Book: How Europe Underdeveloped Africa by Rodney Walters
You both talking the truth
I’m trying to figure out the Blue print so I can transition back to the motherland. 🥰
Shout out to your daughter for her UA-cam channel, I was just looking for something different to watch and all of a sudden I see the whole family. I love what you’re doing and representing in such a positive light. I pray to bring my family for a visit. Sending love and light in these crazy times from the DMV ✌🏾
Your thoughts Not mine You sound crazy!! Don’t you live in where the US. The UK?? In Africa you’ll be around our own.
I am from Ghana and believe me when I say the gov't have implemented initiatives to welcome your brothers and sisters..
The African Union recognizes the diaspora, the continent is divided into six regions, and the diaspora is the sixth region, research it, the diaspora needs to take advantage of this aggressively
kervin aham I will look into what your stating.
I love y’all videos and can’t wait to move to Africa. See u soon
1:10 the way she looked at him, oh my, I wish to have someone who would look at me the same way too.
Thank You for wisdom and realness. You both are giving seasoned advice. And this is what the young people who are ready to move back to Motherland need to and be ready to consider. I hope to meet you both one day.
dual citizenship is on my mind. I cant wait until the Gambian Government includes us.
SJM, there's never any shame in needing an adjustment. It's a big change! I'm glad you embraced it and you guys are loving it.
DUAL CITIZEN IS BETTER DAD
I love u so much guys - can't wait to visit you as soon as the next available flight becomes available - be blessed
My people have skills and wealth and head back home. MAMA AFRICA.
Really appreciate your channel!
How much do I need saved up move to Africa and start over? I have a pregnant wife and a 2 yr old daughter. We got 50k saved. Will that be enough to build a home and start a business?
Save another 50 to make 100
Trust me you are good to go
Business first before building.business bring revenue and you can build later
You got way too much already! Just make sure you got a plan, and manage well once you get there!
Nation building you don’t need all dose amount of money to live in The Gambia because your money have a lot of value and with that 50k you can live like a king and queen in The Gambia and you will never regret that experience good luck to you come home you’re welcome
you folks are sharp. good luck to you.

I'm in Sierra Leone...from Atlanta......I found you through your daughter's channel. We're in Sierra Leone right now and had the same epiphany in 2018....moved 7 months later. Would love to meet you guys!
The only African government acknowledging that diasporans are our brothers and sisters is the Ghanaian president
That's not true. Sierra Leone grants citizenship to some Black Americans as well.
@@leeantony Yes, that is true. If you can prove through DNA that you are of Sierra Leonean descent. ES, from the Eat, Love Migrate UA-cam channel has a Sierra Leonean passport because of this.
Be blessed🤗
Thanks so much for the video. May God bless your family in your real home Africa.
I personally think dual citizenship is better just to have, for ease of business. Most countries allow for dual citizenship though.
You two are awesome! Thank you so much.We have made up our minds to come.We want to sell our home first. My husband is military,as well. We have our income and we no our home will sell quickly. Peace and love.
I would opt for dual citizenship, but I worked too hard to give up my pension and benifits to start all over again.. I will use my money to build and do business in africa. I also have jamaican citizenship, but might give it up later to have african citizenship.
Pensions and benefits are a fixed rate. Business opportunities and income are unlimited.
The money and d natural resources is in Africa bro...the white people come over to Africa to exploit those resources and minerals take d money back to America to employ black people as workers on minimum wage while oppressing them ... the diamonds rappers and hiphop artist wear in America is taken from African ...as a descendant of the enslaved u re more entitled to those resources than d white man...unfortunately most of d diaspora don’t get d message and prefer to continue to live in poverty and misery in America
