This is the mother I always wanted to be. I hope my daughter recognises that when she's older. It's hard being a single parent but we do it because we know the reward is a well adjusted talented child. This interview made me emotional. Thank you for sharing.

I'm only at the beginning of the interview and I can absolutely tell that your mums energy and attitude has allowed you to be confident in expressing your self as a person without having to edit yourself . I might be wrong but she seems very ahead of her time . Beautiful to see .

This was nice to watch. I never really used to like Zeze but hearing her mum talk, sacrifices she made for her child and just hearing what a strong black woman she is made me like Zeze and understand her better. Would've been nice if they touched on when her Dad left the picture. I love what she said about her wanting Zeze to experience everything, sacrifices she made as a parent and not wanting to have another child unless the man married her, that's one thing I've also always said having a child myself and being a single parent.

Fantastic interview... I resonated with your mum so much. I’ve chosen to choose my daughter over a relationship that doesn’t result in marriage. I also experienced a miscarriage which has affected my mental health in relation to a relationship and having more children. Maximising my daughter potentials has alway be my no.1 priority which has allowed me to first complete my university degree and hopefully increase my earning potential.

I didn't get to have that with my mum but I believe thats why God blessed me with girls and I truly pray to have this kind of transparent loving relationship with my girls as they grow older. Going through pre teen stress now but I am forever remembering why God chose me to be her mum and I know it will pay off in the future. You kind of reaffirmed that with this interview. Wow, it was like watching me and my daughter. When she turned 16 she thanked me for all that I have done for her, the opportunities, sacrifice, love, and that she is proud of me. I cried when she told that, then she said “mum I haven’t seen you with no man, you have just focused on me, go out there and start dating it’s your time” 😂. I love my daughter I’m a proud mother ❤️
Your mum is a real one, No1 can ever come between a mother's goal/ purpose when raising their child, and for your child to have a good future. The relationship you have with you mum and Gran is so much like mine, I fully cried when you mentioned Granny. I felt that one, Grandmas hold the foundation. RIP 2 our Grannys❤️

this was really nice and randomly alot of what ur mum did for u like sending u to private school i did for my daughter and she recently said the same to me about treating her too well that she now has had to learn to adapt but i wouldnt do it any other way. ur mum must be so proud
