- Should you buy your DREAM irons? GOOD idea or NOT?!?! - In this video we discuss if buying your dream irons is a good idea or not. Also is it good to buy from Facebook market place.
When I was about 48, my dream clubs was mp 33. Used about 7 years before losing distance. I sold to young man watched me hitting balls, started to talked how he wanted mp33, after hit balls with hand me downs, asked him what he could afford and he said 100 dollars. So he got a complete set for a 100 dollars, he was so happy it made me feel great.

I bought a a set of mp32 15 years ago brand new, I still play them now my coach (Luther Blacklock) advised me to stick with them when I suggested buying new irons...
He said you know the sweet spot is small and you need to hit them sweet, if you buy modern irons you will think you can hit them any old way. Nothing feels like a Mizuno...
That's why I still game them 👌
I was gifted a full set of t-zoid pros 16 years ago. They have taught me how to strike the ball. So many guys talk about how far the new clubs go. Honestly, I'm 60 now and I don't care if I'm losing a few yards. I'm still longer than most that I play with and nobody cares. If I do get another set it will be a set of mizuno blades, mp32 or 33. Anything else just makes you lazy!
I love the content and banter between you two. I especially like that when Chris drains a 30ft put there is no emotion and James drains a 15ft and its like he's won the lottery. Keep it up guys

On the subject of shooting, the Pheasant shooting season starts on the 1st October. James was referring to the Glorious 12th which is the 12th August and is the Grouse shooting season. Its only glorious if your not a Grouse🤣

Think we all have a set of clubs we look back fondly on. Mine has to be my MP19. Great content and the banter between is great. Tell James that Gandalf is from Lord of the Rings, 🤣🤣

My dream clubs were MacGregor muirfield's which I bought back in the 80s and used for about 15 years I still have never gotten anything that feels as good as they do if these mizunos are half as good as that they're definitely dream clubs

While the lower loft might technically slightly counteract the lower CG of GI irons, the primary goal of “stronger lofts” is to make people feel like they can hit their (name an iron here) further than their old set. CHRIS.

After I broke my wrist, I sold my MP32s. I so regret it now. Even if I couldn't play them any more, I would put them on my wall.... But I would love to try them again.
Even as a 20+ handicapper, my handicap dropped by 2 after getting. I have never hit a better feeling iron when pure. I think they were TrueTemper rifle R300s stiff, but 1" long. With my lessor wrist, a regular in 1 " long might be exactly right....
The Sweet spot may be small, but the result is you focus more on a pure hit, and get LOTS of feedback.

Mizuno! I have always loved Mizuno and after 30+ years as an elite distance runner. I have always used Mizuno shoes and thought I would stick with them when I started golfing. I have not been dissapointed.

Mizuno irons always look great, based on looks my next set would either be mizuno, srixon or the apex pro’s. Based on my talent it will be some forgiving thing
