Absolutely epic. This has been my favorite car on this channel so far. It resonates with my 12 year old self when the fast and the furious was released. I was already into car before that point but the movie solidified the engagement. The EM1, DC2, EK4 are cars I've always wanted and a clean OEM+ build like yours (maybe not that extensive lol) was something I wanted to do.
Love it! I still have my built 93 Prelude Si turbo sitting in the garage. Needs to be rebuilt once again, one day maybe..... I actually live close to LHT and have talked with John on many occasions back in the day, may have to finally get the car to him but I've been saying that for 20 years now.

I mean - that civic is cool and all... but... Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that, he just went into Harry's, and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS. And a Motec system exhaust... sooooo.... yeah.
I just want to put it in a pedestal and admire the shine and polish of the body and parts! But then again go drive it and enjoy the vtec, that super crazy expensive suspension, and bump to some nice tubs in that amazing stereo... just drooling 🤤
Heck. If I win this for dropping $40 in merch I would keep it as is and drive the heck out of it. These civics are great. I honestly love this aspect of the channel. Someone wins an awesome car for a few bucks and he makes money and can do it again. Plus just seeing the build is quality content. Keep this going!

Had the full Vortech Supercharger and aftercooler kit. That would be the only thing this one is missing. That sweet sweet blow off valve was so amazing lol. Currently have a 98 Civic Type R with a fully built Benson Block and head, Turbo'd pushing a minimal 400whp. Was a mistake, not a fun car to drive often. You got this one absolutely right. Function and form for the anytime driver.
Even if I were to win this thing... I wouldn't even know what to do with it. It's just too perfect that I'd worry about ruining it. This belongs in a museum.

I have you and AllDayAnthony to thank for raising the prices on these AP1 steering wheels,lol. They went from $100 to now $400+ for a complete and clean example (non rewrapoed, non flat bottom. Those I've seen over $1,000!)
I love the em1 and also love how yours turned out. That being said you could had spent way less and have had the same results. I get it you went and bought the perfect stockish low miles si but thats where you made the mistake. You could had bought 1 easy for under 5,000. Especially if you were planning to swap the b16 low milage engine out. Either way much respect i do love this build.
That thing is the ultimate sleeper. looks like someone cared about it n made it look nice but doesnt seem like itd be worth that. None the less its an amazing car that will last a very long time. Another 30 years easy.
I’m always the guy who even if I buy a car that’s done, I always change something to make it my own. I literally would not touch anything on this car. It’s PERFECT! I doubt there will even be a chance but I’m going to try.

I want to do a very clean built on the first car I owned which was a 2000 Maxima SE. It's obviously very possible. It's just a thing that I feel like alot of car guys want to do when they get the finances and experiences. I was only 19 when I had that car and I didn't do anything to it.

My Goodness! I'm entered but wanted to come by and grab a few more things I needed just for those extra entries. IF I where to win, huge if, I would baby this car. Like you I had a 1999 EX but completely converted the interior and exterior to an Si. It was Red. Second color choice. Swapped in a b16A2 with all type R internals. Mugen twin loop exhaust. Sounded like a Ferrari!.. Had the car about 4 months when I found a local guy selling a brand new VIS carbon hood and I ended up getting it for only $200.00! Then about two weeks later the girlfriend at the time and I went to go see the first "Iron Man" film at the AMC 24 here in Atlanta. My worse nightmare hit me when we went to leave. Someone had stolen my car. Tho I had a hidden kill switch and steering wheel lock. They still got away. So again like you I have a story with this car that I need to complete. I still have new parts I bought and never installed on mine! Little things but still have them nonetheless. Man, I want this beauty!!! Great job. I understand but its a beautiful build bud!

Did you ever consider reinstalling the factory engine mounts since the solid mounts aren’t cutting it?
First thing I would do. He mentions he wants to replace the mounts but will just leave it for the next guy.
