Would a fulsome apology from someone belonging to a class of professional liars make things better? Politicians have been lying about immigration for 50 years. Judge them by their deeds, not their words.
Kemi Badenoch was a full part of the conservatives when they were in office. She, like them must take full responsibility for overseeing the mass uncontrolled immigration into the UK since 2010. In the last four years, what the conservatives have done to the UK is nothing short of criminal negligence. Their NIMBY attitude is sickening. Blair was bad enough letting eastern european's into the UK, but at least the vast majority worked hard and paid their taxes. But the conservatives, in just ONE YEAR allowing nearly a million immigrants to land, the vast majority with no intention of seeking work, only benefits, is beyond the pale. As a minimum, this alone makes the conservatives totally unworthy of ever seeking re-election. After nearly five months in power, I as a neutral observer today saw Keir Starmer become the Prime Minister. He must continue the vital work that has finally been started and speedily deal with the key problem that people voted Brexit for. I wish him well in this endeavour. I look forward to the day when an election is held - the choice being Labour or Reform.
"We need to talk about immigration". NO WE DO NOT. We've had over 20 years of "talking" about immigration. We need detailed, workable plans for action to bring immigration both legal and illegal down to zero and then to start reversing it as our population is beyond carrying capacity as evidenced by our sewage works no longer able to cope and discharging raw sewage into our rivers and coastal waters. This is the second worst thing she could have said. The worst would be for her to have argued that we need MORE immigration to meet Treasury growth forecasts and frankly it wouldn't have surprised me if she came out with that.
It's the legal immigration is where the problem lies, beginning with Blair and Brown in '98. How students were allowed to bring family members here is unforgivable. Then we had 6 million from the EU under Major, followed by successive Tory PMs refusing to leave the UN convention and ECHR. Now it's Starlmarx with more hotels and private medical care.
There is almost universal ignorance in Britain regarding the UN Global Compact signed by Theresa May’s government, in Morocco December 2018, (along with 164 other UN member nations) that surrendered complete control over our Immigration to the United Nations. And by which Article 17 of the Compact states that these immigrants rights to HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, EMPLOYMENT and EDUCATION supersede (take precedence over) those of natural British citizens.
The public can not see that 780k net migration, plus 50k illegal, 600 births per year and this figure is always revised up. The state can not fund the services or infrastructure necessary to service such rapid population growth. If we decline it such a rapid rate then those with skills or moderate wealth will leave leaving the least productive in society. Tax can't keep pace.
Is it just me or does anyone else think Badenoch is crap as leader of the opposition? She embarrassed herself on PMQ's by bringing up Labour's tax rises but on the Monday prior to PMQ's she said she wouldn't make any changes to those rises. The odd joke about the government is not good enough, she has an opportunity to rip Labour apart for everything that's going wrong but she's letting them off the hook. Pathetic in my opinion!
The problem with zero is that we get to keep the worst people while the best flee. The Tories have always been more interested in how many gay MPs we have, how many black MPs we have, and how many women we have instead of caring about the British people as a whole. Also, Kemi is herself an Anchor baby, her mother came just to give birth.
It is insulting of Badenoch to expect us to believe empty Tory apologies after years of empty Tory promises. That party is too divided to deliver on anything.

Too little...too late. They've all said they will sort this out and they don't!! Johnson, Patel Sunak and Labour have all said the same WITH NO RESULT blah blah blah!!!
And BLAIR,MANDELSON BROWN
The system is broken and the Tories broke it. Does Kemi see the irony?
my grandmother told me "Never trust someone that says they will do tomorrow, what they could have done yesterday but did not do".
She (Kemi) is inexperienced - and maybe too maleable for others opinions and narratives. It would be great if she had a solid moral core, and listened to people, really listened to her cabinet and are guided by moral and just policies
She's WEF, just another Sunak
It is offensive to hear foreigners, especially those of incompatible 'cultures', talking about the Western country they have come to live in as "their" country. It Is Not!
Her great school guidence had lots off substance?? Meaningless did nothing
legal migration is driven by rich people and its poor people who suffer
Another politician out of power, telling you what you want to hear
We have had this for years, why didnt she (her party) see this before. We need change and not Conservative or Labour
It's so funny that they think we are going to believe them. They think we are stupid beyond description.
It doesn't matter what they apologise for, or not.
You just know it will be more lies anyway!
She was part of the problem ,all those thousands coming over in backs of Lorries , Containers , and blacked out SUVs were never counted or Captured.
Let's have a new party that will make new mistakes trying to resolve the same old problems !!
Keep signing the petition folks.
The problem with Badenoch is that she is trying to please most of her back benchers. If she does please them she will be out.
How she has the bare face cheek to say “ it can’t go on “ unbelievable- well said Kevin - never vote Tory again
ONLY REFORM WILL TAKE THE BOLD STEPS AND ACTUALLY TURN A BOAT AROUND
NONE OF THE OTHERS WILL
Did Kemi's mother pay her NHS bill for the birth of her daughter?
Of course not 😂
You are 14 years two late I would not trust the Tories as far as I could through them.
Let this be a gauge of where you are at as a country - if you cannot find white flesh colour stockings in the shops anywhere for work etc - you know where you are - and that is nowhere. The pain is real! 🌻
Kemi Badenoch is the new captain of a sinking ship and it's still going down.
Illegal migration is a problem, and the ECHR puts the breaks on efforts to address it, but the main problem is legal migration. 1.2 million immigrants / year is an enormous number and the Tory party have planned and executed this immigration policy.
Agree she’s not the right person.
She's not mentioned getting out of ECHR or mass deportations. Utter rubbish. Vote reform.
Kemi is a joke 😂these numbers were under her watch , and talk when you keep banging on about people on benefits maybe the majority are immigrants you 🤡s
It was under Boris ( NOT Badenoch's) Boris is long gone
@ kemi was in cabinet so she was involved didn’t hear her moaning about immigration then
@@michaelathanasiou2030 Badenoch was in the cabinet at some point. What did she do? Sunak was the real disaster allowing 750,000 visas in his last year in office.
Badenoch would be more of the same, all talk no action.
Even morw of the same
People have been taken in, but hopefully not anymore. After 14 years, she thinks we will believe her? Never again "Fool me once" etc
She is just another pick from the woke colour chart, Thatcher wouldn't even have her making the tea, we need a decent opposition and Kemi and the current crop of tory wets are not it.
Don't forget the about the complete culture change to the UK.
The torys stood by and allowed it ha ha ha ha ha
She'll do shite all - same as Cameron, Johnson and Sunak - almost as bad as Labour
The 'Old talk ' comes to mind !
She let all family members in this country how dare she avoid what Conservatives have done
I bet donations to RNLI have dropped like a stone.
I read somewhere, that the Government give £400,000 a year to RNLI.......?
NEVER TRUST BADENOCH
There is almost universal ignorance in Britain regarding the UN Global Compact signed by Theresa May’s government, in Morocco December 2018, (along with 164 other UN member nations) that surrendered complete control over our Immigration to the United Nations. And by which Article 17 of the Compact states that these immigrants rights to HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, EMPLOYMENT and EDUCATION supersede (take precedence over)
those of natural British citizens.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
@ O just want to know why people like Farage who claim to be against this illegal migration aren’t informing the public of this agreement with the UN
Interesting comment.... I guess we will all be ' googling ' it soon... Especially Article 17......
Well said that man.
Any numbers on White Flight?
The problem with zero is that we get to keep the worst people while the best flee. The Tories have always been more interested in how many gay MPs we have, how many black MPs we have, and how many women we have instead of caring about the British people as a whole. Also, Kemi is herself an Anchor baby, her mother came just to give birth.
Ever trust the tries ever again REFORM MUST BE GIVEN A CHANCE
Great start from KB hopefully she can drag the rest of the party along with her.
As a ex conservative, i don't trust her or the party.....
It is insulting of Badenoch to expect us to believe empty Tory apologies after years of empty Tory promises. That party is too divided to deliver on anything.
I won’t fall for it… never EVER voting Tory again. REFORM IS THE ONLY SENSIBLE CHOICE.
The system is broken and she would leave us in the ECHR
We have heard it all before. I have given up listening to either Labour or the Tories when it comes to immigration, illegal or legal. Vote Reform UK at every opportunity.
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
to late.. piss off tories and feck off starmer REFORM REFORM UNITE THE KINGDOM
I'm amazed how people think an undemocratic party owned and lead by one man is the answer. Didn't we choose to leave the EU to take ownership of our democracy.
These Tories apologising for failing on illegal immigrants yet if they got back in to power tomorrow they’d do exactly the same thing
Kemi has a lot of work to do, but she's heading in the right direction.
Well said Isabel
Has she said anything about how she would do things differently? If not, it's worthless. Interestingly, this speech is not provided on the Conservative Party's website. In fact, the latest entry on that website is dated November 25th.
