Man I can relate to him. In 2017 I went thru the same thing accept my appendix ruptured. I was on a ileostomy for 6 mo. The most depressing thing I’ve ever been through in my life. I wasn’t this depressed when I went to prison. To see your body shrivel up after losing hella weight and having to deal with that God awful pain and smell is enough to make a grown man cry. I’m very thankful to be past that now. Thank God

I follow him on ig and remember seeing he said he has crohn's disease.. Despite dealing with something so hard he's stayed so relevant. I think he's super talented and I am willing to bet we haven't seen his best work yet. Abbott elementary is HILARIOUS... They definitely chose the right one. My sister has it and it is a hassle for her and anyone who has it. Prayers out to him and I liked him on the walking dead
for MOST ppl when they leave that damn dairy(humans shouldnt be drinking cows milk any damn way) alone in addition to what other foods cause them gas(unfortunately will have to see what those are for you as an individual by trial and error testing and most importantly remembering!) alot of their issues also clear up. an inflammation eliminating diet helps too. and even though our country of the "good ole" usa looks down on ppl resting and not working themselves into the ground and just living to work........LOTS and LOTS of rest helps to also calm the inflammation that causes many digestive issues. try to keep stress at a minimum if at all possible too.
My mom has Chrons disease. She never eats dairy. I hope he has a happy and healthy life.
and also eat your meals in tiny increments to not over tax the digestive system......i also feel better when i fast off and on

As someone who also has Crohn’s Disease and at the same age of 23 when exactly the same and worse happened to me and I almost died. I was diagnosed at 10 and now have a permanent ileostomy. I’m so proud of Tyler speaking up and shining light on this illness and the community. This pandemic was no joke and I started it with surgery 3 wks before initial lockdown! We cannot get sick, Crohn’s disease sucks but we survive! Was so happy to see him on the Walking Dead and Abbot Elementary, wishing him continued success and big hugs from a fellow Crohnie.

Wishing you well, have you looked in (weed) I saw somewhere it treats your disease well. Of course doctors isn’t gonna tell you this, but if it makes you live a better quality of life, why not, plus I think you can get it without THC.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's around 17(Before the turn of my 18th Birthday), I Would walk short Distances & Be Exhausted,(Like Someone who would do a Workout or Mile Run), And I Spent One of my Breaks in a Hospital,(Believe Easter Break), From School,(Had 3 days Rest After being let go from the Hospital), And Spent most of My Senior Yr in HS in & Out of School like a Revolving door 4 days here, Another 2 Etc. The ppl(Fellow Classmates & Teachers) really didn't understand & thought was Playing Hookie or Made Light of it like was a Headcold, Use to Get Real Hot,(Start at Forehead Pulse all over my body), Felt was at war with my Body was on Remicade for a time but one visit during my Local Hospital & It Backfired the Feeling hit me was in the Middle of Getting Treatment & was Tryna Suppress it Make it go away Was like tryna Hold a Volcano down tryna Erupt than what I had eaten from Hospital Menu discharged & I Said to hell with that Treatment it took a while to Combat my Crohn's & figure it out an effective way to handle it I had to build myself up Mentally to Fight against the Urgres to Barf after awhile of Trail & Error I could be around certain Herbs & Aroma's it was an Uphill Battle & Once in a while have a Flare-up,(Not as Frequent as Use to but have to figure out what works for you Since after all We are the One who suffers from it), Glad not the Only one who has this.
This literally made me cry for him. I had no idea and so glad to see him back working doing well! Much love. ❤
I read about his autoimmune disorder when he was first casted on Abbott. I am happy that he is well and still acting. He is phenomenal as Gregory!

I can relate. I don't have Crohn’s Disease, but I was diagnosed with Lupus shortly after high school. Had a life-threatening flare at around 23.
Never new that he endured all of this. I hope he is healing well. So often we look at all the glitz & glam of being a celebrity forgetting that they go through issues too. Thx RRG! 💕

I have Crohn's as well and had surgery to remove 6 inches of my small intestine and 4 inches of my large. I can relate on so many levels. Never knew he had it also

In Britain the show was aired on channel 5 which is one of the more popular channels over here and i loved it. The whole cast were so good and it's still one of my favourite shows to watch. Alot of my childhood friends watched it religiously. I had know idea the lead character went through this. Much love and respect to Tyler. I'm so glad he's doing well.

Thank You for doing this story on the life of Tyler James Williams I always wondered what has been going on with him after Everybody Hates Chris.. He had serious health issues. Thank God he made it through it all. Blessings go out to him. I would love to see him do more with television and acting, He is a great guy. I wish him the best life has to offer him.

I was diagnosed with Crohns disease in March 1991 it sucks so I know how he feels! Glad he made it through because that disease is a life changer and requires alot of support from loved ones to get through! I loved Everybody hates Chris!

I met Tyler James Williams at a Walking Dead convention in Atl. He was super cool and down to Earth. We took a few pics, talked about music and hung out for awhile. I always root for him. So glad to see him on Abbot Elementary. He’s got another HIT on his hands with that one. 💯💯😂
I understand. I've suffered with Crohn's since I was 16 years old and wasn't diagnosed with it until I was 21. Since I've had 17 surgeries in my lifetime and still going strong. Stay strong brother.

Watched everybody hates Chris a lot growing up.. in my preclinical years of medschool I was told I look like him, so I did some impersonation of him too. Knowing he has crohns and survived sepsis yet still rocking his career is inspiring. Getting back on your feet is a must💪💪

I can totally relate to him.
My life was totally normal until i turned 11years old. Was diagnosed with Mg, an autoimmune disease which the doctors couldn't explain why.
Later has problems with my gut health.
But am trying to live life and not let it stop me.
Even though, it's really difficult, especially when no one understands.
When dealing with an autoimmune condition, always have a good support system by your side.
I was almost paralyzed, but my parents and sister stood by me, even till this day.
My dad financially and my mom and sister emotionally and spiritually.
I wish him the best for his health so sad never knew he was sick. . He's so handsome. Health comes first so if anything else..I want him to be healthy number 1! 🙏🏾

Aww man, I have gastrointestinal issues, so I'm completely relating to this! I had diverticulitis and had a large percentage of my small intestines removed, and I can't gain weight either. I've even had an ostomy bag as well in the past. This is so relatable!

I'm glad he's open about having Crohn's disease. It's important to spread awareness. Love him on Abbot Elementary! I don't really understand why he was so hostile toward college or why he couldn't go part time and work. I think college can be enriching and he seems like a smart person who could have gotten into it.
