The lot you were parked in at the end of your video is close enough to my house i could've hit your van with a rock. Born and raised in Hazard. The vines are most definitely invasive. Kudzu is what it's called. The railroad brought it in the 1920's because it grew fast to stop erosion but it takes over everything. Downtown has suffered over the last couple decades but we are trying to bring it back. Thanks for visiting and come back anytime!!!
Hey nice video, but I wished you knew the dark truth of politics here. 25 million went into this county this past year. The elected officials pocketed it and screwed the citizens. You mentioned you've never seen so many lawyers in town? Well sir there is a reason. I wished i would've ran into you this day, I could have had a great interview with you. Oh by the way, google SCOTT BLAIR Commonwealth Attorney when you have the time. This will give you an idea..😂. Anyway cool video, thanks for not downing our unfortunates..👍
That river has been the same color all my life. The vines are Kudzu. They are invasive, but edible. Why would you call someone's dog into the road? Please don't do that. Thanks for the video.
@@chadhall5091 coal mines aren’t for everybody sure it’s good work but you gamble later in life with black lung. So many people I know has died from it.
HunterFraley304 I was born and raised there and it hasn’t always been a sh*#hole. I moved away when I was 21, 49 now. All my family is still there. I visit frequently. Drugs have taken over and lord don’t get me started on politics there now! Local officials are robbing the citizens and getting rich! So sad. I’m proud to be from the Mountains of Hazard. Just wish they’d vote the right folks in and get it right. I had the perfect childhood! Someday, I’ll call it home again.

It is beautiful. Things will change for the better one day.
🌵"Hey brother!" 🌵 😂
Good video Cactus. Thanks for the tour.
Hey thanks! My pleasure.
I have lived in Eastern Kentucky all my life, and wouldn't want to live no where les, great video, and keep up the good work!!!
Thanks and welcome to my channel. Kentucky reminds me of where I live sometimes. Just less people here.
Rock On stay safe out there from Western Kentucky 🇺🇲
I’ve been through Kentucky a few times and also wondered if those vines are an invasive species. Beautiful country.
We moved up from Florida. And those vines are very invasive. They are called "Kudzu"
Very interesting. Thanks for watching.
We do have atv ride in the next county over
I'll have to bring mine next time.
I live in Jackson KY. We miss the people there the mountains and hills. And the good old high school football games .now retired in Florida.

Hard to tell in a video, but the road was one of those barely driven on tiny ones. Dogs just lay down on those streets.
This is what happens when you take the biggest soul income from the people of South Eastern Kentucky. 😢
Such a fascinating place. Much potential for tourism. My home area didn't adapt when all the mill industries closed.
Come sono le opportunità di lavoro ad Hazard?
Is this home of the Dukes??
I think the Dukes was a fictitious Hazzard Georgia setting.
It was originally supposed to be but the TV studio was afraid of getting sued so they decided to come up with the fictional Hazzard Co. Georgia
Hazard is a shithole no job opportunities here at all. I feel bad for people down here.
What about the coal mines?
@@chadhall5091 coal mines aren’t for everybody sure it’s good work but you gamble later in life with black lung. So many people I know has died from it.
Eastern Kentucky is a shithole. Land is beautiful. People are filthy, and as bright as a fence post.
