Just got my first Beetle and there is so much information/advice on UA-cam that is unhelpful and /or simple wrong. However, I have found your channel to be the most useful and accurate. For example I had a problem with car not pulling in the gears. I watched your video on the 7 most likely problems with the carb. One hour later my wife, the dog and I had a lovely trip out to the beach. Thank you for your time and effort in helping a inexperienced Bug owner. Ps The car in this video, to say amazing, brilliant etc would only be an understatement! Regards

@@classicvwbugs Hi Chris. Got a question for you. My bug starts and run fine but as soon as you press the clutch it make an awful noise. The noise will happen in neutral and making no attempt to select a gear. There is no noise when n the car is in neutral or when running in a gear. Only happens when you press the clutch. I was told that just before I got the Bug it was fitted with a new clutch. But. I cannot guarantee that is was replaced or it was replaced correctly. I have had the car for a little while and this problem has just recently appeared. Can you suggest anything I should check first before I remove the gearbox? Cheers

Nice job on the resto, would have also been nice to preserve it in the original state if it wasn't that rusty around the sills.

Probably going to need the support rails welded on the bottoms of heat channels.
