I'M HERE AND I'M CRYING 😭😭😭❤ This is so hauntingly beautiful I've had to watch it so many times I lost count to truly capture it in my mind because just WOW! All the parallels perfectly seemed together, especially that beginning like dang 😍 and from Barry's "I have to go" *perfectly* timed with the song to the montage of years worth of moments at the end I'm just a river of tears here lol I don't know how you manage to capture them so perfectly but you always do, in AUs or in universe it's always spot on.
There's so much under the surface with these two they really need to let it in and let go of their fear. Just let it all out! All the pain and hurt and longing. Preferably just fall into eachother's arms 😉 but they are the only ones who can truly understand what the other has been through and I have hope that we may see this one day but for now I'll just cry into my puddle of feels! Love the colouring. The song is beautiful, bittersweet but hopeful too, really lovely choice. Always great to see new clips included for freshness. Also like the variety created by having some of the voiceovers be highlighting other clips than the ones where the lines are spoken, that was great to change things up for perception of scenes, giving new depth to them.
Cool to have "I have to go" lining up with similar lyrics in the song. That moment you transition from "You're not alone" to him isolating himself in 2x01 is omg the feels, especially with the next verse being 'we need to break so hard' angst for them both, but it so nice that it turns hopeful after. Feels like it goes into their turning out stronger once they are past their traumas. The look back to the start section was quite cute to see the throwback to her watching over him, choosing to stay and the SOS he answers for her. Generally love seeing parallels between them in this, the 2.15ish with them both sitting contempatively was very nice. Adore the Caitlin puns included, hee XD
