Another fun fact is that you can see silhouettes of players through smokes if there's patches of light and dark on them.

My guess with the nade size thrown vs. dropped is that, they are bigger, just so they are more easily visible when thrown, whilst not beeing comically large whilst just lying on the floor.
i think it's just something the devs overlooked.
My thought too, I dont know if it was the same in CS:GO. But the way they made this game more noob friendly, you are probably on to the right path.
@@soju69jinro It's for sure intentional so it's not too difficult to spot incoming flashes. It was even more noticable in 1.6, as soon as grenades left the hand they swelled up like balloons.
I wonder how the nades look in player's hand in third person
@@itdobelikedattho8112 I'm guessing the same size as when they are dropped on the ground since it's not until they are thrown the increased size is of use.

With the HE thing, any sort of spam will tell you if you're hitting someone. If you're trying to check CT vent on Nuke or behind mid doors on Dust 2 you'll hear if you're hitting a person.
That B site h.e. grenade for info is a good one to know

i fucking love u dude. i just came from this very nerdy video. i prolly already knew half but it is so nice for u combined everything like the way u did in this video where u are not just teaching utilities and line up and talk about how physics work in this game.
Nobody seems to put the mechanics in a practical way. I’m just filling in the holes :)

@@adityarohanik0 i wasnt joking and i was about to ask for help bus mine has fixed
@@adityarohanik0 i suggest doing "unbindall" command in console (this will remove all and every bind) go to setting reset to default. go through and change to your preference, and rebind all special binds eg " jump with space and mouse wheel down" ect. Restart game and it should be fixed. I'm all good now

if i remember correctly from my testing, you can't hear the grenade hit sound if they have kevlar. You can only hear it if they have no kevlar

the half a second on the molly wont really change much on pushing but defusing it could make the difference

Decoy smoke and HE smoke interactions are helpful.
I still have mix feelings about the molotov but I can't run cs2 so i have no way to solidify my feeling and the thing about allowing smokes to actually bloom downwards should open up a lot more options for things i believe
also a molly bouncing will spread faster than a molly that has just lands, if you add a bounce it'll spread way quicker

If I’m not mistaken, you can only hear HE damage vs non-Kevlar. That’s why you hear it the most on pistol and not much after.

Molotov visuals should be adjusted to fit the famous theme "What you see is what you get" cuz right now it's not fair to have the fire visible and yet you already dont take damage

the overpass nade seems really good for high level play

Do you have a line-up for the smokes shown in the thumbnail, or did you just noclip and place them there manually?
I have lineups for those from default. Throwing those smokes are actually really easy, you can just get the smoke stick anywhere within the bottom of the bridge :)

I would wonder if the deference in flash sizes is to enable at a higher level the believability of fake flashes. That thing if comically large in comparison to the ground flash and the fake flash is properly done with a pistol. (just a random thought)

I believe that the molotovs are gonna get updated and the spread is gonna be smaller in the future. The spread right now is absurd.

I don’t believe so. You have to bind each grenade to a separate key

do the console commands for the util stay there after you close the game or do you have to re enter them every time you start it up?
They will likely go away when you quit. You need to make a CFG file in your cs properties folder. There are a lot of videos on that and it’s very easy to make one (5 minutes or less)
@@CrusheryCS is there a way to make it still cycle through all of my util aswell? I usually press my 4 key to cycle through but when I did it it just bound it to my HE grenade and couldn't cycle through anymore.

So the HE grenade through walls is definitely a bug, but what kind of harm does it have the potential to cause?
Yeah I think it's a bug too. Connector Door area is broken on overpass. Played a match where we saw the enemy's foot through the wall. Also there was an ESL pro match where a hand was sticking through the door.

idk if anyone could help but ive been trying to setup an auto exec file and its just not working, ive got all my alias binds in it, but whenever i go to play, my mouse gets stuck, i even added the mouse x and y pitch and yaw command, still stuck for some reason

What’s the automatic knife inspect bind code?
I don’t actually have an auto inspect for the knife. A while ago, I checked that and noticed that the knife inspect delayed the swing of the knife. I have just used binds for all of the utility
