MUSICAL THEATER - Florida School of the Arts

The strategy of developing a triple threat performer involves the student in an intensive training program, which covers three core areas: music, dancing, and acting. In addition to performing in musicals and plays, students are given the opportunity to audition for vocal ensembles, music reviews, cabarets, master classes, and dance concerts. Florida School of the Arts serves the entire state of Florida and is part of the academic and administrative structure of St. Johns River State College. The College awards associate degrees in acting, dance performance, musical theater, stage management, theater technology, graphic design/new media and studio art.
