HARLIN - Lydia - Roxy 2-27-1987

HARLIN performs their song "Lydia", live at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, CA on February 27, 1987. They opened for The Knack that evening. Whil Harlin on guitar and lead vocal, he also wrote the song. Brett Scott on bass. Drake Thompson on drums. Lead guitar by Gilbert "Gib" Arciniega.
Whil wrote and recorded this song when he was in a band called Beringer Reef in the early 1980s, and it appears on the rare 12" vinyl EP "Pacific Illusions". This is an excellent live rendition that really rocks out. I think Gib's lead guitar work in this is exceptionally tasty.
