wow Ive been watching couple other soccer animes and this is prob the one with most fluidity and realistic gameplay Ive seen. I just doesn't seem 2 dimensionally like the others. I will check this out.
sad part is that I'm playing kinda like Bakki... I suffer from nerves during matches, and have no real ability othr than running fast... but suddenly I break into some sort of skill-release like once pr 50 matches where I play somewhat good! First time i saw Giant Killing I was like"It's just like me!"

@killingspeerx well ti was voted the best general manga of 2010 :P so that means its good. as for captain tsubaka man thats the grandaddy of football anime :P .just like gundam and mazinger to all the coming mecha anime or dragonaball to all the fighting supernatural anime:P .call it nostalgia the old ones are simply great (if you don't count animation flaws, popularity of manga-anime etc)
I thought about what the old fart says in the first episode about the amateur team playing the big boys. Then first thought was the women's Olympic soccer team. They played much younger teenage boys for completion. And lost.
