👍you blokes do the hard yards getting in and out of your spots, but being such lovely country every step is worth it, a couple of tins always helps. Here's me saying that from the comfort of my thrown. Well done🥃🍺⛏️. Time for the hair of the dog🥴 I'm thinking.
Loads of new tazy channels coming up lol. Keep the bits that look yellow is great advice. Everything is frozen over here but hope to get out finding the yellow stuff again soon. Really appreciated you sharing your thoughts about where the gold might be and why
yeah cool ill have to have a look at the new channels frozen ground slows you down quite alot id imagine ,your a clever bugger im sure your still keep busy mate stay warm great to hear from ya cheers
A very entertaining video. What gem of a location, the whole place to yourselves, very lucky. I enjoyed the explanation about the river and possible gold bearing locations. Great job.👌
How amazing, adorable and beautiful our planet is. We have winter and ice, and you have summer and warmth. Another great video, I enjoyed watching it. I would be very happy to prospecting for gold with you, it’s a pity that there is no such opportunity. Beautiful nature, great weather, blue sky, and a few tiny pieces of gold 👌🙂
hey bro great to hear from you again ive been enjoying your gold extraction vids your a clever bloke indeed ,its just as beautiful here as it is in your area on opposite sides of the earth awesome when you think about it mate hope your doing well and still finding gold AK cheers 🍺👍
That's a beautiful river Taz , great Adventure mate . I too would have thought that spot would have been good gold , but there ya go aye , not the best spot after all . Yeah , those damn March flies , i had one as big as an F35 fighter jet pestering me the other day , and i just had to drop everything and set my mind to killing it , lol , 🤣or i think it would have killed me . Anyway that was a top day Buddy , and some nice editing and D shots too . Thanks Bro . 👌👍✔ Cheers Ned .
@@tazyt3388 Hahaha , Why do they call em March flies when the Bastards are here in January . lol , 🤣 Yeah , going OK so far Taz , thanks for asking mate . cheers . 👍
Hope to take the pans out west this summer to the Idaho/Wyoming border to the claim! Will be my first real prospecting trip. Can't wait. Been paying close attention to how you shake the pan out etc. Great video man!
thanks mate hope you have some luck out there theres a bunch of ways to pan be rough with it to start and ease up as you get less and less material it works faster than just ticking along have fun man cheers

Well there was gold below but not up high And those boil holes looked delicious ay Yup I like small waterfalls with a crack in the bottom of them I stack rock around the top to divert water so I can see Then knock ‘em all in the hole again so I came back holds the gold To clean takes longer ay Awesome location TT bit fare for my bone on bone knees lol I’m heading up to see family at Tamworth then a sluicing and panning on the river vid Just got back from my first trip for the yr at Sofala got flooded out thou Cheers 🍻 happy new yr to you and family mate CrouchOz
Gday mate your not wrong there at least I’ve got no bikes to fix this time hehe Dave was well last time we chatted busy doing stuff like we all are ,I’ve got a big trip coming up in a month 5 days of mayhem bikes and exploring it’ll be fun if we survive, have a good one mate cheers
absolutely mate theres pretty specific circumstances that let gold accumulate understanding the variables helps narrow it down so does lots of luck i have none of that hehe great fun exploring though thanks for commenting mate cheers
A falling river can for a moment hit peak flow bed interaction and move the deposition regimes. River on the rise often quickly surpasses the depth of the peak action on the bed. a falling river moves material differently Try including that in your flood transportation model 👍
absolutely correct there mate thats the flood pulse that often pulls heavies out of boil holes and crevices depositing it downstream at the next pressure drop , considering theres a dam above this location that gets overflow releases in winter to control the flooding ,this makes sense .testing these places confirms it, and is a great day out exploring too .greatly appreciate your input mate thanks 👍
@@tazyt3388 👍... like staging areas for long-term deposition .... something I noticed in my river was how quickly, at the end of a flood pulse, sorted sand could cover crevices and fill in scour holes in the gravel River bed ... places I scoped out only to be full of sand by the time the river dropped enough... just spent 2 weeks in the Weld a few other Tas rivers.... you are one lucky fella 👍
