That was some nice Griswold at that one booth. I have a friend that I met through estate sales from your area. I'd say Hunter is in his mid 60s. He has a ponytail but seems like a nice guy. He resales but I just collect cast iron, I don't need to know as much as you guys. I don't find a lot of cast iron near the larger cities, nothing I'm willing to pay for anyway. I pretty much stay from Dalton to Knoxville and Tellico to Murfreesboro. Good luck with the channel.
My rule at swap meets or flea markets is to offer 30% of the asking price and go from there. Or, sometimes demand two unrelated items be 'bundled' in the deal. I once bought a German-made anniversary clock at less than the original price and the guy had to include a small stuffed alligator resting on another table. I kept the alligator longer than the clock..a fun and true story.
