Lacrosse Pocket | ATTACK

What is best pocket position for Attack in Lacrosse? In this I will show Shanes lacrosse stick & where his pocket is located. Many of the lacrosse players today use a mid or high pocket for better shot & release. The low pocket though will help those that play attack when dodging with 1 hand. The mid or high pockets are a little better for those that are shooters or play mid-field.

i would say everything you said is correct aside from the part about how the ball sits. I personally use a low pocket at attack. The problem with this pocket is when you cradle one handed with this, you will have little to no feel of where the ball is in the pocket when you go to release since it is just sitting on the plastic and bottom string. It also will have no hold when two handed cradling and bringing the still back. it's important to always have a channel that the ball can sit in so you have a great feel of where the ball is at all times, low, mid, or high pocket.
