Luís Felipe Hi I wanna intreduce myself as Mamed an Online Coach Which is why I have two very simple questions: 1. As an Professional or Entreprenour do you sometimes struggele with achiving your dream body? -what are the 2 biggest issues you’re dealing with? 2. Regarding achiving your dream body what would you wish for more than anything else? Thanks so much in advance - looking forward to reading your answers!
Just thought I'd post this in case anyone wanted a quick rundown of what he said in point form! Measure a smaller unit of success. - Smaller milestones/steps. Well help with knowing where things are going wrong - Instead of me being like “I either get it or I don’t, not knowing where I don’t get it and why. - With all of these smaller steps, when you deconstruct things, you can chunk all of these little things together and it will make the learning process a lot easier once you reassemble them. Drill ONE thing until it becomes a habit, then move on. - Apply that thing until it becomes an unthinking habit. - Focus on ONE thing, make it habit, and then move on. Shorter period of study every day are better then long, sporadic cramming sessions. - For learning, a little bit everyday is better than one long batch. - Learning comes from repetition. - If you’re trying to build a skill, you’re trying to rewire your brain. - Shorter periods in between mean you get to review a lot more consistently. - Takes a lot more willpower. - True for learning, but not necessarily for production. When starting, test many different methods; when growing stick with one. - You’ll start to plateau. - At the beginning of the endeavour, mix it up. - When you find one that works, shut all the rest out. Stick with it while it’s growing like crazy. Debrief to avoid repeating the same mistakes. - People have a lot of pride, when they don’t get something they want to act like they know. - Through that mentality, you actually don’t know what you should or shouldn’t do. - Ask about what you did wrong, ask how to avoid making the same mistake next time. - Like this instead of repeating the same mistake, I make them ONCE. - In order to know what we are doing wrong, we need a second opinion.

Reviewing your mistakes is so important. For every job I've been unsuccessful in applying for, I always contact the interviewer in earnest and ask how I could have improved or if there was something they felt I was lacking in. They look upon it very favourably, and I've actually been offered jobs I was previously refused after doing it. If you want anything at life, be persistent. You don't have to be amazing, as long as you take it step by step, don't give up, and you'll get there fine in the end.

Hi, Charlie. I know this is crazy but I admit that your channel is addictive. Last night, I watched videos relating to Game of Thrones as usual and I cam across your channel analyzing my beloved Tyrion Lannister. After that, I watched another couple videos talking about my favorite TV shows and I decided to subscribe. Then, I explored your channel. I found out that it's very useful so I watched it until 8 in the morning. Today, even though I am not fully recovered from my illness, instead of watching TV, listening to some music or wandering on UA-cam, I'm fully committed myself learning on these many awesome social skills from your channel. I feel so grateful to find your channel exactly right on time because I am about to start working with a new group of people and I want to make sure I am likable because it is important for this temporary job, and having a charisma is so important of my career. Years ago, I was a nicer person --- people told me that I was a very sweet person. Of course, I was deceived and got my heart broken many times until it got so shattered. Then, it came to the point that I no longer wanted to fight, which meant I no longer wanted to live. So, the long story short is that I become a much more stronger person than I used to be but at the same time, I became more cold person. I can cut toff he bad energy from the situation or others fast, and does not let it affect me. However, because of this "I-don't-care-about-how-they-feel-but-myself attitude", sometimes people got misunderstood that I was unfriendly and arrogant. I know that there are still sweet of me deep inside, and some people who get to spend some times with me know that; still, it affects my life and it hurts to find out that some people don't like me, are afraid of me and misunderstand me. Luckily, I'm a person who LOVES to improve myself and I also love to get to know myself all the time. I always analyze the situation both bad and good. And when things go wrong, I often understand why by trying to walk on that person's shoes. After realizing the cause of problem, I'll solve it. Anyway, I also realize that I have to work on my charisma as well. I know I am a good and nice person. And despite how I disagree with certain things people think and do, I want them to like me without losing who I am. I also realize that I'm better than that kind of person who treat other people badly because they are not as smart as you, not as good as you, etc. As I am a good and nice person, I know that people deserve good things despite how different we are, and I should be a person who always treated people nicely if my life goal is to be an inspiration. ------------------------------ Well, since this message is extremely long, even though it's important for the creator to receive a nice feedback, I want to ask you and even beg you to create a video in a topic "How to make a good UA-cam video". You see, I'm not going to teach anything relating to charisma, I have other passion I want to follow. Still, I need to have a guideline from a charisma master about how to make a good teaching video. If it's not about the content, what can attract more people and make them come back over and over again. ____________________ Thank you million times Maemé
It sounds cool and all, but you need to understand that pirating software doesn't give the pleasure of getting and working for the money required to buy the actual thing. When you've worked to get something it makes you feel so much better. You're ruining your experience by just using illegal methods to obtain software.
You are an amazing speaker! You speak for a full 11 minutes and don't have one jump cut. Love the way you honestly share about your business as an example! Thank you!
1. Take a small unit of success 2. Take one thing, repeat it so long so that it becomes a habit (at least 3 weeks) and then move on! 3. Smaller periods of learning every day is better than the last few days learning like you would have to kick the bucket otherwise. 4. When you start, test different kinds of methods (qualitatively). As soon as you feel like really growing in one particular field of learning and feel the most comfortable compared to the others, remain true to it! 5. Don't make the same mistakes all over again. You are smart, you give other people chances to make mistakes too and learn from their's. It saves you lots of time and emotional pain! Learn from your and others mistakes! Best regards, my dear power people ;-)
Nice advice. At the end of the video, you should recap them and give them the most concise name possible to help us remember them all. Write them on screen for the visual of us :)

I know it does not have much to do with charisma, but could you do a video about procrastination? I'm currently trying to deal with it, but I'm kind of in a struggle :DD
As a fellow sufferer, my best advice is not to look for motivation from videos or anything like that, the effect lasts for about 1 minute. Meditation helped me, as it helped me identify the pull when my mind is wandering on to something else. It takes a few weeks to really recognise the feeling and be able to stop yourself. Another tip is to listen to some generic video games music while you work, I don't know why it works, but it really does. Another thing I discovered on my own is... when you first wake up, deliberately refrain from doing something that distracts you, such as going on to youtube or reddit to see whats new. You will find you are less inclined to go on throughout the day.
1) Do the hardest thing first, like studying. 2) Avoid ALL distractions, like uninstall your video games, study in a library Your going to get that "I don't wanna" feeling, do what you have to do and that feeling will gradually go away.
Your video came at the end of a night trying to understand what direction my life is going in where it's hard to envision being successful anywhere in particular, this advice applies to ANY path i might try to take, so thanks! Keep making stuff like this!
I believe that knowing WHY things do what they do helps me to see patterns in everything, allowing me to master things at a much faster rate. It works in the long run because the "why"s are fundamental building blocks of everything. If I know "why" you do what you do in a certain situation, I can better predict how you will react in a different situation. And if I'm wrong? I look at WHY the pattern didn't hold, which again gives me a pretty good idea of how you will react in an exponentially expanded number of situations, and so on. It works with people, places, and things. "Why" = knowledge / understanding / power.
Continuing to watch, and I have more thoughts.... "How can I avoid that?" is almost the same as "WHY is that effective?". But the WHY allows you to develop new strategies of your own, again giving you a fundamental knowledge to build on. You can run simulations of your behavior, and predict when something will happen, opening up your possibilities and making people think you are some kind of genius. Best analogy I can think of: The kids that learn the multiplication tables from memory VS why the answers are what they are. Anyone can recite from memory (well, most people), but knowing why 9x7=63 allows me to apply that same principle to any and every number in existence. Its been pretty helpful for me over the years. Social interaction can be a little more difficult to understand than math, but the same holds true! :)
I agree. Even with my learning in school I seem to be the only student to care about why any of the stuff is the way that it is? A lot of student will just not ask any questions and take everything at face value. Asking why can incredibly increase understanding/learning. It provides a base knowledge that can grow
yea i think "thinking about your thinking" is "meta-cognition" or whatever buzzword they use; this is definitely legit. but imo it's more important to recognize your own personal hangups to success rather than EXACTLY how you process/retain information.
Well, I'd say they are both important! Why can't you work on recognizing your personal flaws while learning to process information more efficiently? The power of why can get you to the root of ANY problem. For example, it can teach you why you are not getting the results you want out of life. It can teach you the difference between 'wants' and 'needs'. It can get down to the fundamental values and beliefs that make you who you are as a person. And when you know those values / beliefs, you can change them as you see fit, effectively making you a new person. The more you understand, the more you have the ability to change the world, including your self. Isn't that what success is? The power to change yourself and your environment to how you want it?
One thing you can try to do to improve your growth, is tying your titles and content to modern events. For example, this video might have gotten a boost if it came out before everyone's finals, and your proposed Mohammed Ali video might have gotten a boost if it had come out shortly after his death.
well i appreciate that at least he didnt use clickbait for views.. u know.. like GONE SEXUAL / GONE HORRIBLY WRONG in brackets at the end of the title :P
Enough with the meme!!! These guys are killing it! Your content and delivery is great! Your content is refreshing because it's smart, rich, actionable, and needed. Your delivy is well articulated, professional, and tight. Love it. please keep it up! Thank you!
First off, thank you so much for your videos. I love them. Summary: 1- measure a smaller unit of success. @00:39 2- drill one thing until it becomes a habit, then move on. @2:20 3- shorter periods of study everyday are better than long, sporadic cramming sessions. @3:45 4- when starting, test many different methods; when growing stick with one. @6:13 5- debrief to avoid repeating the same mistakes. @7:40
This is 6 years old and someone like me is benefiting from it! Thank you so much for these vids and your program! I want to say more but I’ll keep it at a simple and deep thank you!
1. Measure successes and failures in a smaller scale so you can fix the tiny mistakes 2. Drill and focus on one thing at a time, don't move on until you've mastered it and it's become an unthinking habit 3. Shorter, consistent period everyday of studying is better than longer, one-time cramming period 4. When starting, pick a bunch of methods, find what works for you and stick with it, forget the rest 5. Debrief to avoid the same mistake - you might need a second opinion to know what you're doing wrong
Hey Charisma....I am from India..And I really love your work..The way you break it down so everyone could understand is really amazing and you got a great body language....
I learned something similar a while ago. It was something about the key to success and the main advice was to focus on the little things and once you succeed doing the little things the big things will come. In other words small successes become big successes.
I thought he was boring and that's why I didn't listen to anything he said. Ironic given to the name of his channel. But he seems like a very nice guy though...
Hello redditor who actually didn’t come from pewdiepie (which is what the comments say) I’m here to save you. You probably came from r/memes or r/dankmemes or maybe even r/youngpeopleyoutube. Have a good day c:
Please make a video on how to offer help to someone or give advice without them getting offended. It's hard when you see someone doing something wrong but aren't sure how to approach them with the mistake without making things worse.
Daniel R I find myself in similair situations sometimes. I believe that not everybody wants to hear advice at any given time. For someone to actually want to change something, they must realize that theres a need for change. If they are not open to advice, theres no use in trying to "break in". There are certainly techniques to open someone up for advice, but in my opinion, there are also some things that can only be learned by personal and independant reflection.
Thanks for making these videos. I really liked the 2nd rule especially. I've found that I'm too ambitious in a sense, and easily distracted, so I usually focus on too many aspects of things when i'm learning. But when I think about it..the times I was most productive was when I really focused on a certain aspect. It was less stressful, yet oddly more challenging making it more motivating, and just overall more rewarding.

Measure a smaller unit of success.
- Smaller milestones/steps. Well help with knowing where things are going wrong
- Instead of me being like “I either get it or I don’t, not knowing where I don’t get it and why.

Well, since this message is extremely long, even though it's important for the creator to receive a nice feedback, I want to ask you and even beg you to create a video in a topic "How to make a good UA-cam video".
You see, I'm not going to teach anything relating to charisma, I have other passion I want to follow. Still, I need to have a guideline from a charisma master about how to make a good teaching video. If it's not about the content, what can attract more people and make them come back over and over again.

This comment isn't relating to anything. I'm so confused.
It sounds cool and all, but you need to understand that pirating software doesn't give the pleasure of getting and working for the money required to buy the actual thing. When you've worked to get something it makes you feel so much better. You're ruining your experience by just using illegal methods to obtain software.
Do you talk to me or Charlie?
Hopefully, my writing isn't bad.

1. Take a small unit of success

Appreciate the feedback :-)
Alexandre Vinet a concluding thesis?
Alexandre Vinet Agreed
Measure a smaller unit of success.
- Smaller milestones/steps. Well help with knowing where things are going wrong
- Instead of me being like “I either get it or I don’t, not knowing where I don’t get it and why.
RICHARD WANG IN SOME OTHER COMMENT WROTE THIS DON'T CREDIT ME, I'M JUST A USELESS COPY PASTER

I know it does not have much to do with charisma, but could you do a video about procrastination?
I'm currently trying to deal with it, but I'm kind of in a struggle :DD
Why do something tomorrow, if you can do it next week?
Maybe watch the willpower video?
2) Avoid ALL distractions, like uninstall your video games, study in a library
Your going to get that "I don't wanna" feeling, do what you have to do and that feeling will gradually go away.
I always look through past papers and scare the shit out of myself because I no clue then I study faster haha
Your video came at the end of a night trying to understand what direction my life is going in where it's hard to envision being successful anywhere in particular, this advice applies to ANY path i might try to take, so thanks! Keep making stuff like this!
Will definitely be making more videos :-)

I came from cowbelly studios.
Yet learning "WHY" is the most lengthy process of all.
One thing you can try to do to improve your growth, is tying your titles and content to modern events. For example, this video might have gotten a boost if it came out before everyone's finals, and your proposed Mohammed Ali video might have gotten a boost if it had come out shortly after his death.
great point

I learned something similar a while ago. It was something about the key to success and the main advice was to focus on the little things and once you succeed doing the little things the big things will come. In other words small successes become big successes.

Preface it with "Would you like my advise?" If they say "No," listen.
You should put a summary at the end of the video.

I came to find it, then realized I had already liked it
