These lightning effects are top notch!!! 🤙
Cheers John! Always a pleasure collaborating with you!
Right on, Dafydd! It seems I have a lot to learn on this particular aspect of crafting. - Rick, USMC
Thanks Rick. I’ll admit, this is “up there” with the medium/complex projects, but we all know the gateway to this stuff are dollar tree candles!
Dafydd you are the master of the leds and gadgets!! I have enjoyed watching your channel grow and the various options you offer to expand our crafting community!! I love using your electronics in my own builds. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
Thanks Scott!
Sweet
Thanks Bill. I appreciate the support.
Lightning, LEDs and Lasers? You truly are the god of Thunder, young man.
Get me hammered and call me Thor!
@@TerrainTronics You sure nailed this one :D
Nice! Great collaborative build with John!
Thanks 👍
Great how you provide such neat modules that do all the difficult lighting tasks so people can get on with the game & terrain!
Glad you like them! Thank you for your support on discord too!
@@TerrainTronics no problems. You're producing elegant tech solutions for this community. Great work.
Amazing work, Daffyd
Thanks dude. Much appreciated!
Nicely done. I would have cheesed it, and just wired in a "firelight" LED, but it would never have looked as good. Nice job, Dafydd (and John)
Thanks! 👍 once I realized that each light source has different patterns, and that those patterns could be converted to states, I was able to create those state machines for candle, lightning, neon, breathing and others.
Like a bulb went off in my head - pardon the pun!
Awesome video 😃
Thanks 😁
These are awesome Bud! Loving your vids so far, and wish you much success with the channel.
Are you considering manufacturing some of the larger component of this and selling as kit, a bit like your door system on Etsy? I would for one would pay quite happily for it and i'm others would as well!
Hello Xanth! Thank you for the kind words. Definitely considering kits for this, or even pre-made finished modules where all you have to do it cut the LEDs wire to length.
I have a 12 year old here that I’m trying to encourage to start doing the assembly for orders on a custom basis. Hoping it’ll encourage him to see there’s life outside PlayStation. :) stay tuned - maybe we’ll do a video about him learning to solder etc.
It’s an awesome effect, the coding and programing is just out of my reach to pull off.
I’ve already written the code for you! :) your biggest challenge would be installing the arduino software and setting it up for digisparks. I learned how through UA-cam! :)
