I’d love to see a “closet breakdown” of someone who was recently analyzed: going through their closet with you and learning about which colours work, why certain patterns work etc. for example, you recently analyzed me as a True Spring and I have numerous shades of green, almost none of which match my colour season! A lot of my clothes are too muted, so it would be fun to go through it all and be like, “nope, no, nuh uh,” and at the same time, get a sense of what other season those colours belong to. It could help to train people’s eyes in a fun new way. Who doesn’t like a closet makeover? (Without the pressure to buy stuff of course…) alternatively, for those who love shopping, maybe you could go thrifting with people and get a partnership going with second-hand boutiques?

I think a compilation of hair videos for each season, showing before and afters is always super interesting and informative! Like how a warm spring differs from a true spring, and a light spring!

I would love to see more about which makeup goes best with which season. It’s really too expensive to “experiment” with makeup so recommended shades of lipstick/eyeshadow/blush for each season. I also watch a UA-cam channel called Color Class. While they have good content lessons it is based on a 12 season pallet so it can get very confusing at times.
This is more complicated for me as I spent decades buying for a winter but was recently analyzed as a true spring!

    - More information on the topics of why someone can borrow from other seasons eg. soft summers with cool olive skin and deep hair looking good in deep autumn and winter colors. People who can wear a lot of seasons well. Eg Kate Middleton or someone with more yellow skin than her.
    - Dying your hair within your season, can you dye it any color or do you need to stay close to your natural? What does this depend on?
    - Continue spreading awareness and educating specifically about overtone and undertone of olive skin that is a darker skin color, there is a knowledge gap here for many

I would really like to see more videos on how to find colors in the store that match my color wallet. I find it VERY hard to decide if a particular color has the same "quality" even though it's not exactly the same color as in the wallet. My go-to 'trick' to decide if it is a color that suits me (muted autumn) is when it is dull and not saturated. But I'm never sure if it, in fact, is a muted autumn color. So, any videos on that topic would be really helpful to train the ability to see 'it'.

I agree with this. Especially when there are not many options in the store to help gauge. I'm a cool winter and when surrounded by muted options, with one potential ringer, it's hard for me to tell if the color isn't cool summer. It's like i need a grouping of colors to identify the family and when there is only 1 potential option in store, I'm not always confident.

I'd love to know if your hair colour as a child influences your colour season?
For instance, if you were blonde up until you were a teenager, and then your hair became dark brown by the time you were 20, would that rule out certain seasons, like the winter season? (since it is unusual for winters to be blonde). Would it also influence your flow season? Or does your hair value before you were 20 not matter enough to rule out seasons?
    Thank you💖💖I love your content!!

More practical videos on using your palette would be great! You could go shopping and show different items for the different palettes. Any tips on how to judge colors in stores if they have bad lighting?

I’d love to see you show some clothes, and/or colour cosmetics (eg popular lipsticks) that are currently available to buy and show which season(s) they’d probably work best for, and why - sort of like a shop with me online. I know colours online are tricky but a starting point in training our eye would be very helpful.

Discussion around how a persons colouring might change with age? Very confusing, as some colour analysts say your colour season never changes and others say it can move even from a warm to a cool season (!?). Not all of us want to go grey, but eye colour changes and hair dye going lighter may mean our original colours now look a bit off. Do we just go lighter within the same season, or move sideways to a softer one? So many questions around this topic. A lot of website assume if you are, for instance, dark haired, you will stay like that for life, not so, so what happens?

Interviews with veteran colour analysts. How has the industry changed, why has it become so popular again, perhaps include one of their customers analyzed in the 80s…how did they use the knowledge throughout their life?

    I have so many questions!!
    1. Can you do a deep dive on cool undertone with warm overtone? I get that you match the undertone to get the sparkle, but I feel like things like jewelry and makeup make more sense with my overtone.
2.Can things change when you are more tan? I know you've said they dont, but it feels like I can wear a whole different pallete when I'm tan. Why does it feel that way if your pallete doesn't change?
    3. Can adding product to your hair change the tone of it? My hair is dark brown. I feel it has golden/reddish elements when dry with no product, but looks jet black and very cool with product in it. Is this something you consider in color analysis?
I was hoping to do a colour analysis with you this summer for my birthday but then I realized if i did i would really want the video session and then it was just a little bit out of budget. Would love to hear you speak of any of these topics.
I THINK I am probably a deep winter, but part of me wonders if I might be bright winter or true deep because I cant figure out my undertone. I think it is cool with warm over, but might also be olive. I tried an autumn pallette for awhile but realized I really do pop more in brighter colors. But i still really feel good in rust. So i dont really know. Maybe we can splurge for the real deal at Christmas, although I kind of wanted to be analyzed while tan. Not sure why haha

Another one: I feel a lot of people don’t really understand what makes a person a bright season vs muted. For ex. I’m a true spring but most people saw me as muted just on a superficial level, because I didn’t look immediately “bright”. I did see it for myself, but people didn’t really believe me!
People generally will not consider bright unless you have shiny intense hair, striking eyes & luminous skin 😊

Thank you for all your hard work on the content you create for us! I’ve learned so much from you, and you always bring a smile to my face. My arts education was focused on music, which I loved, so I’m learning about colors and color theory as an adult. I sometimes have a hard time determining g which colors in my palette lean more to the cooler or warmer end. Some colors are easier for me to understand, like reds. I can tell which reds lean more toward orange reds vs blue reds. I think, for me, some of this is because I don’t fundamentally understand how the palettes were created. What was the process to determine which colors to use as examples in a color season palette? I know we don’t need to use the exact colors, but I’m curious about their construction. That may be more detailed than what some might be interested in, but I learn by understanding. I’m fascinated by all of this. At the very least, it would be helpful to understand how to think about what colors palettes on either side of my season so I know where to focus as I learn my palette. I find blues and purples to be particularly confusing, but I’m guessing others would be interested in this as well for their palettes.

I would love to see some examples of natural hair colours of similar value, but different intensitys. For example a deep ash vs a deep brown-black.
I would also be interested in more videos on eye patterns. I find it very fascinating and a lot of people misunderstand it.
I also think it would be interesting to see a video about historical photos. Maybe comparing historical photos of people who people would guess are the same season without doing a colour analysis, but are different seasons and their historical photos align with their actual season. For example a summer and winter who both have dark hair, fair skin and light eyes that people would guess are the same season based on their current appearance, but their historical photos tell different stories.

I got one: what happens if people in your life or online actually doubt your results or prefer how you looked before? Doesn’t make me doubt at all, I’m 100% confident & see it. But I noticed others are confused by my dyed hair, and their preferences.
My husband who is a true summer, also finds some of my true spring palette hard to like, let’s just say!! But he does prefer the new lip colours 🎉
I wanted to dispel the idea that if you wear your colours everyone thinks you look radiant and stunning.. sometimes people don’t agree that you look better, even if you see it yourself!! 😊😊

And another question on my mind (I got lots 😂) is when you say a “tough call” , what is the standard for that? Is it literally not being able to tell the difference? How good would both colours need to look before you could say that both actually pass the checks and it’s def a tough call? I’m a bit confused by that, as an amateur (i’d like to get the training some day when I retire from my career)

Could you give some tips on how to take photos with different drapes that have accurate colour and exposure that is consistent across the images?
I see so many people posting photos in colour analysis groups with wildly different colour balance between photos, because including a block of one colour (the drape) throws off the camera’s auto colour balance settings.
I know how this can be controlled with a dSLR and colour balance reference cards, but what can people do if they are using their camera phone?

I have two friends who live in Michigan now but grew up mostly in Florida. Their hair was very light brown/blonde in Florida, but now that they live in Michigan, their hair colors are darker. One became a fairly dark/medium brown, and one a lighter brown. How would you judge hair color in color analysis, if their hair color is actually different depending on where they live? Is the “real” hair color the one that hasn’t been “bleached” by the sun?

Can a person be light summer and look good in medium ash blonde, dark blonde, to light ash brown hair but also not be able to wear really light blonde colors because it will wash them out and look too light? Or if that's the case are they not light summer?

I’m not Carol but paraphrasing what someone commented in a light spring group . Because I had the same question before. This person had a dark /mousy shade of medium blonde hair and was a light spring. Carol had given her the advise that she didn’t need to lighten her hair, because her natural color suited her the best.
