I laughed my ass off seeing a clip on Paul Pierce, who is usually a voice of reason on the dreck that is Undisputed, he was making excuses for the dude's poor performance thus far and then they mentioned some other guy who was balling in summer league and just had like a 26 point game and Pierce basically said it didn't matter and questioned what he was gonna do in the regular season. That's the thing I don't get. How do you get in the league based purely off of your last name, but we're supposed to treat you like a number 55 draft pick? It's nonsensical! All Bronny had to do was play baseball or football. But he chose to play basketball at 6'1. At some point, he's going to have to prove himself to be taken seriously. Don't nobody care about him being a kid and having fun. Fans aren't going to spend their money to buy the jersey of a guy who is the same height as them and can't do anything spectacular.

This is on the “fans” and viewers that keep the ratings going for this Laker reality show. They wouldn’t talk about LeBron and wouldn’t have hyped Bronny to begin with if there weren’t an audience for this nonsense. It’s the same simps that pack your home arena wearing Laker and Lebron gear once or twice per season, who’ve never even been to LA and are obsessed with the celebrity aspect of the Lakers and LeBum. And the Laker fans in LA for getting what they wanted and handing over the keys to the franchise to King James. You wanted him…you got him. We all tried to warn you. But it’s your fault. You are the audience for this horrendous reality show! They just keep adding more twists to keep them watching!!! Thanks.

After Marvis was counted out, Tyson, who was concerned, tried to pick him up from the canvas and later told reporters how much respect he had for Joe Frazier.

And yet every year when they bow out of the playoffs or have to go to the play-in tourney he has that disgruntled frustrated face like he can’t figure out what’s going on. It’s ridiculous.

    Incoming rant..
This Bronny/LeBron situation deserves a more nuanced conversation than what I typically hear from media personalities.
First of all LeBron ruined Bronny’s basketball development. From the beginning of Bronny’s AAU career he’s been playing on stacked teams. He’s never even been a top 3 player on any of those teams. Then once Bronny got to High School LeBron sent him to Sierra Canyon with at least 6 other highly ranked/recruited players where he was just a corner specialist just waiting for his teammates to correct open shots for him until his senior year when he really impressed people with his athleticism and defense.
LeBron never forced Bronny to be anything other than a role player. AAU/High School role players simply do not make it to the NBA. Those players rarely even play high-major D1 basketball. Current NBA role players like Pat Beverly, Josh Hart, Lu Dortz, etc. were always the best player on their teams until they got the league and had to find a role to be successful. Before reaching the NBA those guys were the reason their teams lost or won at the end of the day. Bronny never was that guy and now hes being embarrassed in Summer League, where 95% of the players don’t even make it onto a NBA roster come regular season.
However we can’t lie, LeBron has done more than for this league financially than any other player in NBA history. If someone were to the research and do the numbers, I guarantee LeBron is directly responsible for how popular and profitable the league is today. So in the final years of his career, I think he should be able to play with his son if that’s what he really wants because he’s earned that privilege in my opinion.
Bronny should just have been more intelligent and self-aware to be reject his dad’s wants. Bronny should still be in college developing because now he’s a 6-1 shooting guard that can’t really shoot, can’t create offense for himself or his teammates. He can’t run an offense and his handles aren’t that good. I just feel bad for him.

Patrick Beverley averaged 37 points his senior year with 6 rebounds 6 assists and 8 steals a game… NBA role player…

Bo keeping it real. Impressive take, and accurate. Cool for Bo to talk about his own situation. Now lets see ESPN or Inside the NBA or even the Stating Lineup on SiriusXM follow suit. Not to knock the kid down so much as call it out for what it is.

Bronny getting a secured contract on the Lakers makes as much sense as a bald headed guy wearing a T-shirt with an afro pic on it😩

What I hate is how everyone in the media is acting like he earned this position and contract. And that his dad had nothing to do with it lol 😂😂😂 feels like I’m watching wrestling

I don’t blame Lebron for trying it. But I TOTALLY blame the NBA for cooperating with him. Make the NBE look like the WWE

Haters always try to prove they are right , most disgusting part of their nature is how twisted they get when they are proven wrong. Bronny have taken the first step. He has handled the first wave of haters well. The next phase is coming and I know he will handle that well too.

If you want to play with your son then that’s fine. The problem is how he’s hyped the kid with the stuff he’s said then when asked about playing together you tell everyone that you haven’t talked about it. Nobody likes to be lied to right…? So this is the problem ppl have with Lebron is the LIES!! 😂 To say you’re not doing something while I’m watching you do it is preposterous 😂

Ja Morant, Allen Iverson, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving, Isaiah Thomas(Pistons), Spud Webb, Mugsy Bogues, Nate Archibald, Calvin Murphy, Nate Robinson, and Avery Johnson are just a handful of guys 6'1 or shorter that EARNED their place on an NBA roster.
Bronny's biggest mistake is going to a football school for a potential basketball career. Arizona or UCLA would've been a better choice for college hoops. He honestly should've left Cali for Michigan State or Kansas maybe other Blue Blood programs where he'll learn the game like Kentucky, Duke, UConn, UNC, or Villanova.

And Bomani admits that sports is not a total meritocracy. Well that’s like being a little bit pregnant. Especially, when there are participants in all professional sports , that will readily say, that theres players in their league that don’t belong. There are ppl in the HOF that don’t belong and players not in the HOF that would be in there if it was based on merit.

I had the exact same thoughts as Bo. This is extremely wack because the didn't even give Bronny the opportunity to earn it for himself. Even though Bronny was highly overrated as a high school player, a lot of knowledgeable people saw him as a solid upper-end 4 start recruit that could be a possible first round draft pick after AT LEAST 2 years of college but 3 would be more reasonable.
