@@robinhenley7834 Definitely lethargic. Takes a second or two to really get into that high RPM working range. Wouldn't call it a bog, but it definitely takes a second. Just found a 9r video from this guy and it definitely gets to that top RPM working range faster.
Another utuber is riding both 858 & 9R, he says 858 is lazy on bottom end compared to how hard 9R hits off the bottom end, but he does comment on how quick it still gets up on the snow, I think this is due to track attack angle and rolling resistance of track due to larger wheels and driver diameter. So if Ibex found better clutching then this Cat should be a real weapon, I hope this sled works out and is fairly reliable, the more competition the better for the sled industry, and I ride Poo now and have ridden Doo. I like this new cat and hope it works out good this winter.
Next time you crash your drone there’s a setting to have your drone beep and it’s actually pretty loud. The only way I’ve been able to find mine before. Also it looked like you did, but I try and use the sensor cameras when flying backwards with PIP to see the obstacles behind you.
New model sleds almost always seem to suffer from clutching issues but the new 858s seem pretty dialled. The acid test are the guys just running these sleds hard right from the get go, and they’re not blowing belts.

Weight on the running borders is how you control that if you want it to wash out jump the the back if you want it to hold a line stay further forward on the boards
TBH the cat dealers in the Okanagan are the best , when I was on cat for over 13 years I never waited more than a week for anything until the Covid part shortage debacle
I recomend to reinforce the monorail before you brake it, cheaper to reinforce to buy a new one. Recomend TKI'S railbrace. Allso reinforce the front of the rail👍🤙

And I also lost a drone in Calabogie on the abandoned ski hill (it’s my avromarrow video) didn’t find mine either 😮… dji will replace it if you have dji care on it. Keep up the great riding and edits! Really enjoying the quality this year
is that the mini 4 pro drone? put a bright red or reflective skin on it. ive lost mine a few times but always find it. the DJI refresh is also kick ass.
Looks like you gotta keep your foot farther forward on the Cat boards. Looks kinda like a khaos in that way. I like it to come up, but I want to make it do it, which is why this old man, prefers the pro, over khaos.
Loved the video, good honest feedback on the Cat, I really like the track attack angle and the large diameter wheels & driver's on the 858 cat, this gets it up on the snow easy & less rolling resistance of the track. The sled also looks great in that Blue color. I have owned Ski-Doo's and mostly polaris now due to I prefer how the chassis works on the Polaris for side hilling and tree riding. How do you compare the Cat Chassis to Poo and Doo. I heard the momo rail rode terrible on the whooped out trails on the Alpha, and washed out bad if there was not deep snow, How's the trail ride on 858 ?
Cat said the alpha was never really designed for the ascender, but they needed to test it out. It was designed more for the catalyst chassis. On that note, it seams like the lower attack angle helps? You looked like you were getting up on the snow pretty easy, even taking off heading up hill.
I never thought asymmetry would look so good... At least cat doesn't fail to make good eye candy. Going to get a wrap for it once you trust the machine more? Once you get more used to it, how much effort are you using compared to the doo and poo?
what is your favorite packout? i see you use a few different ones. i am thinking about getting a set up and i dont want to get one that i will regret. im sure i wont regret any of them lol.

Please use the lockout mod on that mountain cat. The atac suspension is a big plus. In big climbs and deep powder is gonna help a ton.

The attic cat almost seems as if it’s throttle response is a little better then the others, when you pin that thing it sounds like it’s just there!

If that RTV fails try some heat shrink tubing shrunk over the coils
