Although this fixes 1 of the many issues this gen has. it also emphasises others, like the space between the players and gate cards still being too short in my opinion, And the gate cards needing notches so SA bakugan can work Limits the field/board to the same layout every time. In the Gen one game, gate card placement would be different because the number of gates on the field was always changing. And Gen 2 Baku-cores really leaned in to this with the cores always being placed differently game to game, Until Gen 2 re-introduced gate cards and the GBG was just a worse version of gatchi-baku. but here, card placement is always the same, but I can't see how you could fix that without getting rid of the Bakublades (which would be an improvement.) It doesn't help that the "barely a game" Game that Gen 3 is leaves a lot to be desired, The skill element may sorta be back with core bakugan, but without a mechanic that can make cores compete with Special attacks, there's no reason to use more than the ONE core required to play. Overall I hope that Spin Master actually Listens to the Criticism Gen 3 has gotten and gen 3 gets a massive overhaul in year 2. Like for starters get rid of the beyblade gimmick and replace it with Special attack Bottoms that have different gimmicks like: a piece that makes the bakugan jump Like Baku-sky-raiders, van falco or ultra's. A Piece that that shoots a small disk to try and knock of an opposing bakugan off a gate or off course Like Baku-blasters. etc. there's so much potential in the splitting gimmick alone but its being squandered by the beyblade gimmick.
Having got mine in the mail yesterday, aside from the Drago misprint being irritating and some Gate Cards being tighter to squeeze than others, I love this set. Makes you wonder why it wasn’t in Wave 1 with how much emphasis on arenas are needed fir SA Bakugan to even work.
@Bakutalk That would sum it up. Honestly, that mindset combined with semi-lackluster and unclear game design from SpinMaster lately is kinda a little bit of a motivator for me to get my fanon project (both fanfic and game design) Bakugan Versewarp off the ground with a saying of "Give everyone more than one way to play however they want to play".
@@Cheslovesnuclearrods I think I mess up with the auto reproduction I was writing a comment and it just didn't I think it just redirected ti the next video for some reason
I ordered the big arena and should be receiving it soon. Thankfully I got while it was $20 and not $40. But maybe I’ll get the brawl zone at a future date Ok so I’m actually starting to regret it. Because of it being so big and taking a while to set up, the included Drago being very flimsy and not very fun to play with, plus the fact that I got a Titanium SA Drago card instead of the Gold SA Drago card, AND the fact that the Brawl Zone is a cheaper, more portable, and BETTER option, I’m definitely starting to regret spending the twenty bucks
This arena reminds me of those cost effective plastic beyblade arenas that you can sometimes get a gamestop walmart or even dollarama. Simple but fun.
Welcome back Haru Ren.

I think an easier way to implement SA would be to build in the weapons into the unfolding function of the lower half so the Bakugan could still roll.
@@Signerdragon123the funny thing is I had a similar idea
Super amazing video Haru Ren! 🔥

They wanted to release the expensive one first so people had to buy that one to play because
✨ MONEY ✨
MONEY!! 💴 💰

@Signerdragon123 can't wait to see it
Great unboxing review
That actually looks nice I might pick that up and the armored alliance unbox and brawl pack.
Now they should make a 4 player brawl zone like that.
I might look into that. At the very least, it will be needed for what little Gen 3 bakugan I have.
It's better that it comes apart than be foldable, durability wise. It's also more cost effective and less likely to have a concave or convexed centre.
Your finally back! How was your break?
It was good
@@Bakutalk good to hear
1.- Is it just me or it looks like Shiny Catherine's avatar?
2.- If that's really Meowscarada's face it becomes one of my favorites
What are you referring to in the vid?

Tcg was the peak 😢
Only downhill now 😅
G3 is not BS but it lacks a lot of polish. The basic idea is intersting but the realization was rushed.
You are not allowed to have positive opinions of Gen 3.
You're joking, right?

Gen 3 show is over now, I hope this weird gen is finished
Can you please provide a link to the official statement about the closure of the show?
