Good timing! Haha Which one are you leaning more towards for the type of bottle that suits you? I find myself preferring to take the bottle movement because its far lighter, but the LARQ bottle has been better in the summer keeping drinks super chill when its way too hot.

@@OneTechTraveller It would be a gift for my girlfriend since she's the kind of person that thinks a plastic water bottle has to be thrown out 3 hours after you first open it even if it's still full because of bacteria. Seeing this, I don't think the normal one would be practical for her. It's just too big.
Sounds exactly like the kind of scenario where these would really help with the plastic footprint and worries of baceteria growth in water left around for a while. There's a 500ML (17oz) of the LARQ bottle which is much more bag friendly if she needs the double wall insulation and is 120 grams lighter than the 740ML i have (granite white), but its much heavier than a normal bottle. The onyx black and green LARQ bottle movement I have is the smallest but is far lighter and slimmer to travel with but lacks insulation so liquids go neutral temperature.
Tough dilemma for sure 🤔 17oz is a better size for if the weight (380 grams) isn't too heavy for her and gives the flexibility to keep water cold during hot days. The bottle movement is far lighter and feels slimmer (also nicer to grip) that the similar volume and height isn't as felt.
Tough dilemma but let me know if u decide on the LARQ or find something better suited for her! The cleaning tech is what's hard to come by and worth the extra weight than usual because water stays clean for weeks on end and works in the background for peace of mind.
As a gift 🎁 it is a great choice and sends a nice message for sustainable living and health ✌

Which bottle do you prefer? I’m thinking of getting this bottle as a gift to someone who works in a hospital. Is the original double insulated water bottle too heavy? Have you used it with other beverages than water and noticed cleaning issues? Thanks!
I really appreciate the hot and cold aspects of the bottle and it is worth the extra cost.
Hey Shriya! Thanks for dropping by and good question. I'm in the middle of writing up my review and recording the bottle movement but early notes, It's kind of a mixture of the two, but I do travel with the larq bottle movement more.
Took it on my travel abroad a few days ago and really find the bottle movement much better to pack in a daypack as the LARQ bottle is noticeably heavy for a long period of time. I like to travel light. During the hot weather, that's when I wish it was double insulated to keep cold water cold.
I've used it with fruit juices and can't comment on it's effectiveness with purifying as I'd need to do something more scientific but I think these are better suited for water with cleaning performance.
No cleaning issues and everything is working well, if weight is a big factor, the bottle movement is better to travel with but you'll appreciate the double insulation and works excellent for the home.

@@bradengoertzen4259 Hey Braden, definitely. For hot and cold, the double insulation really shines and is what I miss from the bottle movement if it's a hot day. I find the LARQ Bottle better suited for home due to the weight but others who don't mind the weight in their bag will like hydrating refreshing cool water or hot liquids after many hours.

Hi Venia 👋 yes you can put other liquids in the double insulation bottle like orange smoothies herbal tea or hot chocolate. Only from experience the cleaning feature works when water is used but it can be used as a typical bottle for other liquids 👌

Hi does this work well with protein shakes in the gym? Will it eliminate that smell?
Hey Sean 👋 it's mainly for water so the smart cleaning feature will kill bacteria in water so its fresh for a long period of time without the need to clean the bottle. While you can put juices and other liquids like the protien shake, it won't work the same way.
So short story is I wouldn't recommend this for protein shake (untested) but certainly water.
