γιωργοσ τσιφ Haha actually, it's currently under revision and I've trimmed it down to 110k words (~425 pages on MS Word). I finished part 1 of the duology. I planned out an outline of the sequel, but haven't worked on it yet (I will once part 1 is published). I've sent query letters to some agents and it takes a while to hear back. A few of my short stories have been published by anthologies for southeast Asian writers/works; some credit to my name can help me jump into novel territory, I hope. I try to be patient yet persistent...that's the mentality you need to eventually get something published. As for the story itself, think of it like an Asian-flavored Chronicles of Narnia, set in a land of four kingdoms based on China, Korea, Vietnam, and Japan. The gods of this fictional world are based on China's four constellations/symbols (the red phoenix, the white tiger, the blue dragon, and the black turtle). The kings and their bloodlines are bestowed power from these gods to shapeshift in their images (playing on the Christian idea that God made man in his image). That's the gist; I won't say much beyond it, otherwise this comment will get rather long. :)

Chinese music is so pure and graceful and beautiful. It heals me and helps me to have a good day if I listen to it in the morning BTW .my great aunts front room is practically China lol. It has old Chinese art and beautiful Chinese furniture and lots of Oriental decor. Lamps, coffee table, tea kettles, porcelain figures, art, and much more! It's heaven at her house. She also has a beautiful koi pond in her backyard. It's so peaceful. (Exept for her dog Petey jumping in the pond lol) going there is a treasure every time. I enjoy it lots l love Chinese culture.its so beautiful.xoxo
