I've read the Long Halloween twice and I could definitely reread it again. Such a great Batman story.
Alan Moore has some of my favorite comics. Miracleman, his Batman stories, V for Vendetta, etc.

Great conversation! Sorry, Glenn, but you might have to end up in third place when it comes to World's Finest Glenns. In addition to Danzig, there's also Glenn Close, who is extremely close to getting an EGOT (eight Oscar noms!). Thanks again for stocking our titles!

Kill All Men for Fanatic Comics, Hunter Ninja Bear for Fenom Comics, and Avalon for Arkhaven Comics. He also has a prolific UA-cam channel where he's produced dozens of "Ask Chuck Dixon" episodes.

Alan Moore wrote a few really great Superman stories like Superman Annual 11, Superman 423 and Action 583 (Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow)

I loved the Len Wein/Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing.
Glenn is on my Mount Rushmore of Glenns along with Danzig and Gilbertti.
Ive read Watchmen about 5 times. Theres a lot of meat on its bones. Thats i think why it always does well.
I didn't hate the new Indiana Jones but homegirl really took up too much of the screen time. She was obnoxiously annoying as a character. Like if you want a chick to replace him at least make her have more depth than a typical beyotch with daddy issues lololololol.

Did you get to Alphacore? I've ISOM 1 but haven't got anymore, not as I didn't like it but as the shipping costs for outside the US are insane at the moment.
Glenn, can you talk about the sports cards soon? It's fun when one of the guys opens a pack, but it would be great to hear your take on the good and the bad of the cards scene.
We will work on a Card video. Not a lot of people come in and rip packs in the store. But we will try and find someone that does.
Continue to love the show. I have 2 requests for Glenn to consider. First, on the opening, could the camera please slow down a bit when panning across all the comic shelves. It's sometimes hard to see everything you've got. Second, when you guys were standing there, in front of the Star Wars comics and chatting, that was pure gold. It was good hearing your conversation AND being able to see the comics in detail. You can do that all around the store. Great show, guys!
We will get a shot of all the wall books this week that are on the wall. We just happen to be there talking about Star Wars with the books there. Pure accident. We don't stage anything so if a conversation happens somewhere we tape where it is.
Finally someone liked Indiana Jones Teh Dial of Destiny🎉 I loved it I think it's a fitting end to the franchise I had fun watching it!

Many things on a very basic level can be entertaining. For example my neighbors dog taking a juicy shit on my lawn. Does not mean it was enjoyable or rewatchable. I think a lot of people these days are sadly so willing to just accept things as being entertaining.
Haven't seen it also. I think the point people make regarding the new Indy movie is the brashness of Indys protegee, the lack of respect, lack of weakness etc. We know the mantle has to be passed ultimately but Indy is a beloved character. If the writers treat him bad some people feel that.

On Alan Moore. Yes, Swamp Thing Miracleman, and Watchmen - were solid works.
However, too many comic book collectors worship at the Altar of Mr. Moore.
Everything he has written since 1983, is not Gold. For example, his Novel : “Jerusalem “, at 1,266 pages, it was 1000 pages too long.
When a self styled magician writes gobbledegook madness and everyone around him calls it Art, I just…walk away.
Add to that, the Movie he wrote “The Show” (2020), and his constant bitter gripe not only with DC Comics, but with comic books as an entertainment medium that he now looks down upon. F***K him..!!
And the crazy circus he rode out of town with.

Wait so let me get this straight, these guys like the new indiana jones and star wars movies but hate Watchmen and the Dark knight? Good lord theyll eat up anything. Dont get me wrong i enjoy hearing differing opinions but this one takes the cake. In Glens case the whole wedding cake.
I can't believe they said they like the new star wars my respect for Glenn has taken it's first hit I been watching for years since the very first doc and have agreed with everything till now new star wars are 💩
I still haven't seen the new Indiana Jones. I did however enjoy Aquaman 2. Curious if Glenn will get around to watching that one. 😅
I love Watchmen. Tales of the Black Freighter part of the comic was mirroring some of the themes of the story. I get why people don't care for it though.
I gave Isom #1 a chance, wasn't a big fan sadly. Art and story felt bland, so I kinda jumped off the bandwagon rather quickly.
i received the bell notice for this episode, but NOT for the NEW THIS WEEK last week fyi.
I found Helena to be so irritating and distracting it ruined my enjoyment of the film. Not because she's a woman, I mean I even like Willie Scott who many find to be annoying, it is because Helena was an awful character.
Dial of Destiny was better than I thought it would be. But the new Star Wars movies were bad. Really bad. The first quarter of the Han Solo movie was ok.
If you’re going to suggest Moore is ‘overrated’ atleast back that up with an argument. Otherwise you sound as bad as hipsters.
