    I went to grad school for OT. When we were studying the lymphatic system we were taught that the direction you use circular movement is actually very important. It has to do with the direction you are moving the fluid. I think which direction you go depends on which lymphnode you want to push the fluid towards. Would be helpful to look into proper lymphatic drainage massage. There is a video on dry brushing by a lymphatic therapist that is helpful. If anyone wants it I can try to find it, but it was the first video that came up when I was searched for a dry bridging tutorial, hope that helps. There is also a website called the aruveydic experience that has a lot of good products and a good video of someone using the kansa wand. Waiting for mine to come in, so excited 😁. Your skin looks creamier abs more luminous, but not from the surface, from deeper within. It looks beautiful. I agree that it does look like after acupuncture. Side note, acupuncture is very helpful. I have some autoimmune issues and my blood work was VERY off. I basically didn't change much expect for incorporating acupuncture and within a few months my blood work was normal. For anyone on the fence, it's worth a try. Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. I can appreciate a fellow detail oriented soul. I'm definitely going to try it on my body as well. My little brother is 20 years younger than me, I got those tense neck muscles from holding him too, and according to my PT, the tension hasn't left lol. Copper is also very helpful for skin. Another thing to look into if anyone is curious. Funny how modern science is discovering what ancient cultures have known forever. Thanks again for this video ☺

    Thanks for the detailed video🙏🏻
    This tool is VERRRRRY commonly used on the soles of the feet with pure ghee/ coconut oil to “cool” the body - de-acidify the body.
    Here the greying is a deep blacking, which reduces with subsequent treatments!
    Using the Kansa for the face is a new discovery for me!!
    Much love & healing energy from India🤗

    I have severe acidity.....here in India we use as a therapy for feet.....our nerve endings are at our sole......so this is called kansa disc massage .....will definitely buy this for face ........a lot of greyish matter came out on my session for feet......if you google kansa plate foot massage ....one can get clear picture.
    Almond oil also seems good.

    Interesting. I’m a Pitta but I haven’t yet had graying on the skin. I love the wand... it is so relaxing and has a huge effect on my forehead lines from years of scrunching my forehead when thinking. Your jawline was what I noticed in your before and after! I’m definitely going to try to use it daily for awhile to see what happens.

    I love the Kansa Wand. It has totally helped my jawline and my chin. I was seeing a lot of grey on my skin in the beginning after I used it but not anymore. I notice it helps me with my TMJ issues too and I have been grinding my teeth a lot less. In fact, my mouthguard is not comfortable anymore and I am hoping when I go to the dentist I might not need it anymore since I use the wand regularly. I was thinking L'Amour your skin might be turning grey since it could be interacting with one of the products you use on your skin. I too saw the original video you mentioned but yours was a great review. Glad I found it.

    I received my Kansa Wand in mid -March, right as our movements were beginning to be restricted where I am. (I purchased using your code, so thank you for that!) I have LOVED using it, and have used it 2-3 times a week. Until last week, when I didn't use it; it was a long week. So, last night I purposefully planned my Kansa Wand session, and oh...my...goodness. Going in, just didn't feel that great, my skin didn't feel that great, and my whole face turned grey! Which had never happened; I had only gotten a little bit of greying previously. But, everything just felt better when I was done. I have a couple of theories as to why. This little jewel has an enormously positive effect on me, and I am so happy to have it. Thank you for sharing your journey and for helping to bring the Kansa wand to me! 💕

    Awesome video and project! I remember to use mine once a week (oops) and get SO much graying all over. I'm going to get more consistent and see what results i get. I will say, when I use it on a breakout I can see the inflammation is significantly reduced. Thanks for sharing!

    clockwise and counter-clockwise has different effects on the marma points. Clockwise can decrease Vata/Kapha and inc Pitta . Marma points can be connected to organ and organs systems. Oils should be used according to the dosha of your skin.

    Hello Mercedes, Such an interesting video! Thank you very much for all information. I've been waiting for your review impatiently. Honestly, I've always been sceptical about the facial tools. But, as I can see the Kansa Wand is a completely different tool. I'm very into Ayurveda. So, as soon as it's possible, I'll invest in this beautiful tool. We'll see how it goes:) Have a beautiful day!

      It really is very different. Honestly I was also skeptical, mostly because it's like oh yeah great another facial tool - and I was already feeling like gua sha was a bit of a chore. This has been a very different experience. If you get one, I truly hope you love it!

    Hi, on the description of the wand, at the bottom it states that it increases your skin’s ability to heal, heal from what, do you know? Also, does the greying only happen on the face, could it happen (or be used) on other parts of the body i.e. the back, shoulders, chest?
    Thanks for your great content!😊

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  4 роки тому +2

      I would assume in this context heal would refer to inflammation which is a root cause of most imbalance, in the skin or otherwise. You can definitely use a kansa wand other parts of the body - I haven't, but I know they make and sell bigger ones for this purpose!

      You can use jojoba oil for face (not for cosmetic use) with no other mix it’s perfect for your skin and your Kansa wand. I do’t know for olive oil but most people use jojoba.

    I picked up the wand and so far used it 3 times. I also decided to use it every day for some time to see what will come out of it. I haven't experienced any greying yet and I wonder if it's due to the products that I use before it or the fact that I always come out of the shower or bath before I use it. I'm only using Ranavat products, including to cleanse my face, before using the wand. It is a very relaxing practice and it's so pleasant to use around the nose, like you said! I can just linger there for awhile. Also my chin. I also realized that those are the only places where I may get congestion, so it will be nice to see if anything happens, and if those areas require extra love. I have done facial exercises, did a 5 week marathon online, that start with posture, neck, shoulder, back area and move onto different parts of the face. A very interesting experience. The facial reflexology tool reminds me of that. Thank you for the video, Mercedes!

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  4 роки тому

      Thank you so much for sharing! I agree that post-shower or bath it seems to pick up much less greying but for me not always. A few times after a therapeutic bath I got SUPER grey. So there do seem to be some correlates but I guess there's just a lot of mystery to us : p Massaging the nose with the wand is life. xoxoxo.

  • @Natie777j

    I noticed that different oils create grey and others dont. Like i tried with Mahalo balm and got so very grey. But with Laurelskin balms or plain jojoba oil i get zero greying.
