This one has a gas engine. Id stick to premium especially if it sits, it doesn’t have to have it but the carb will give you far less trouble if you spring for premium. Regular is ok, some carbs allow up to e-15. Keep an extra carb around if you have to run ethanol blended fuels.
How much did you pay for the bigger ste35 diesel excavator? I almost bought the pilot control 1.5ton machine like this but bought a 2016 low hour bobcat 418 instead. Same as e10 model with expanding tracks and pivoting boom. I paid 8k and the Chinese machine only went for 5k this month.
The controls in between your knees are called backhoe controls. The controls beside the seat are called excavator controls. Not to be confused with backhoe and excavator patterns, also known as ASE and ISO patterns. I could not stand a manual thumb like that.
Just a tip, when digging put the blade at the back; more pressure to the bucket and be smoother ride for ya!
I tried that the other day and it worked great! Way more ground pressure getting through the hard topsoil
Sorry for the dumb question but what kind of fuel do you put it in?

Would like to see a vid of the CFG-STE35SR working. Do you still have it?
Yes same here, I have seen that excavator and would like to know and if was good or not ..
I'd like to see some STE35SR content as well. There isn't enough information out there for me to commit to the machine yet.
Just picked up a small Miva VA13 over the weekend at auction. $3000 CDN all in. Not too bad for the price point.
Where is a legit place to order one of these?
Auctions
Great review. Very nicely done
I have a diggit em15. It's weight is 2240 when I weighted it. I used a ht10b for 2 years before buy the diggit. I just put 7 gallon on my diggit
A ton is not a measurement of space. It's a measurement of weight which is 2000 lbs.
You could say a bunch of... or a lot of...
