I recently had a bilateral inguinal hernia repair done and have started feeling what I think may be a femoral hernia on my left side that may have gone undiagnosed due the issue I was having with my inguinal hernias. Is it possible to see the presentation of a femoral hernia during laparascopic inguinal surgery? And does the mesh that was placed also cover over the place a femoral hernia would show?

Mathew, It is very uncommon for men to have femoral hernias. And as you suggested, even if you did, the mesh for an inguinal hernia would 100% have covered the area of a possible femoral hernia. Best, CAHS

Important question please respond either a simple yes, no or quite possibly. For pediatric hernia repair, a three year old that developed or was born with bilateral inguinal hernias that do have surgery to repair those hernias could this type of surgical procedure unfortunately cause any long term problems with the human reproductive system?

Kristina, We unfortunately do not treat children so we would have to defer to pediatric surgeon. Sorry, CAHS

Is the shown surgery Transperitoneal or Extraperitoneal procedure? - Is the robotic Inguinal hernia repair regarded as Transperitoneal repair?
    Really Much appreciate your feedback.
