AU explanation:
~ Dumbledore & Grindelwald we’re lovers, they both wanted to “rule” both the wizarding world & the muggle world & wanted to live forever so they began to search for the deathly hallows & they planned to rule together as a “light” lord & “dark” lord but Dumbledore betrayed Grindelwald, fighting him to ensure his position as the light lord.
~ Dumbledore was threatened by Tom Riddle so he stopped any type of rise to power, he used the imperious curse to make Tom make a horcrux, he staged raids while claiming it was done by Voldemort. Tom became unstable due to the horcrux & started to believe everything that was said, he became Voldemort.
~ Dumbledore places a block on Harry’s soulmate bond then places other types of blocks/binds before he takes him to the Dursley’s.
~ Harry felt like a part of him is missing but never understood why until after the war.
~ Tom goes to Gringotts & finds out about the soulmate bond with Harry, he writes a will to leave everything to Harry. Tom couldn’t stop what he was doing even if he wanted to, Dumbledore will become suspicious if the war never comes & he might take it out on Harry.
~ Tom goes to the muggle world to search for Harry which wasn’t hard & he approached him, explaining everything but doesn’t want Harry to unblock his soulmate bond bc he has to go through with the war & is hoping that if he dies, Harry would be okay bc the bond is blocked & incomplete.
~ They spent only a few days together but never completed the bond, Tom locks away Harry’s memories of those days & replaces it with false memories.
~ Harry finds out about everything & exposes Dumbledore & Molly, Dumbles goes down in history as the true dark lord who manipulated everyone around him, who went against magic by blocking 2 peoples soulmate bonds.
~ Harry was visited by death, who explained about Harry being the true master of death, how his body is slowly dying bc his soulmate died & how he can start a new life in another world, Harry would still be the MoD & have his magic but death will lock away his memories so he can live without reminders of his last life, his memories & magic will be unlocked when it’s life or death situation.
~ Harry, now Wei Ying, has unlocked magic-memories when thrown into the burial mounds but doesn’t use it until he saves the wens.
~ The Wens & Jiang Yanli are alive, Jin Zixuan dies in an ambush that wwx wasn’t blamed for.
~ Wei wuxian makes his own sect, Mo xuanyu becomes his apprentice after mxy’s kicked out of the Jins by JGY.
~ Wei Wuxian uses magic to make people forget about them fleeing to the burial mounds if they have ill intentions & ensures others won’t talk about their location.
~ Wei Wuxian & Lan Zhan start to date earlier on, they were dating after the cave incident, Sizhui is their biological child.
~ Lan Zhan goes to look for Wei Ying & a-yuan after Wei ying saved the Wens from Qiongqi path, he finds them & stays with them, only going back to Gusu to visit his brother & for when a-yuan gets introduced as his son & starts learning.
