Aw! Haha 🥰 It probably didn't help that the video--after much technological drama--didn't officially go live with a fully-functioning version until 11pm MT on October 30th. Maybe everybody is over Halloween now. Rubbish, says I! Halloween love all year long! (Thank you for watching!)
If awards were given for Breyer content videos, this one deserves first place. Extremely well done. Fun and informative. Just awesome. Thank you Candace Too. ❤️
YES.. I would LOVE to have a Frankensteed one day. He's incredible. Not officially from the series, no, but fits right in! And by the same concept artist as the first Halloween models!
I have Cryptic and Samhain and I aim to get more. I've loved cryptic since I was little his look his backstory everything. I wasn't planning on getting Samhain but she stole my heart because I'm a sucker for the harvest/barn/farm aesthetic for Halloween. But really I think the back stories elevate the horses into legends and myths. Because when a horse has a really good backstory to go along with its spookie aesthetic that's when I really fall in love with em.
I love their stories too! It totally rounds out their "character" and gives them so much more personality. I also love harvest/autumn/farm aesthetic; mostly because it can easily start before Halloween and run long after Halloween too! My favorite season! Good luck with acquiring more for your collection; they're so fun!
I have such fond memories of buying Bats in the Belfry. I was still really young when he came out but aging out of the "rough playing with my models" phase and I'd saved up my birthday money all year for breyerfest. I spent the ENTIRE weekend at breyerfest comparing pricing on him at different places and finally found him for $55. I am SO happy I bought him then! He is my favorite decorator without a doubt. Top 10 at least for favorite models
This is fantastic! Well presented and researched! Your collection is stunning...and now I have to go see if I can dig up (pun intended) my Poltergeist to see if his rider has lost his head as well. Do you plan to do a similar video with the Classics or Stablemate Halloween horses? Blessed Samhain and Happy Halloween!
Thank you, FlyingFox, and same to you! I do plan to do a Classics and SM video, yes.. hopefully highlighting all the mini-me versions! I appreciate your kind words and am happy you enjoyed the video. I'd love to know if your Polt's rider has a head!
The Christmas ones are wonderful too! I definitely understand collecting being hard when space and money is involved 😅 We can all only collect what our hearts truly desire! (PS: an Every Christmas Breyer Horse video is currently in the works 🤫)
Thanks so much, Paula! I'm happy you liked it. I do plan to do a Classics and SM video also! Hopefully something showing the mini-me babies with their larger counterparts too!
This is an absolutely fantastic video! Thank you for putting in so much time and effort to make this interesting historical recap on the Breyer Halloween Horses - especially getting your hands on all those models! My favorite of all of them is Poltergeist, whom I loved from the moment I saw him in 2016. I am happy to say I managed to get one of my own finally in 2022! I really enjoyed your video, as well as your others that I've been watching, and I look forward to seeing more :)
This is the most amazing collection tour / information video! Congratulations on the complete conga! It seems you definitely have a love for Halloween and Breyer’s Halloween line! Also the video quality is phenomenal! We can see the delight in your expression with each horse you put up to the camera and it’s so charming!! Is it just me or is Samhain hard to get a nice glow? Mine is fairly stubborn to keep a good glow.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate all your kind words. And yes, Samhain sadly has a bit of trouble summoning a nice glow.. and so does my Thriller. I'll forgive them for it; they're wonderful in the daylight! 😆
This was such a well-researched and fascinating video! All of the designs are so uniquely stunning. I would *LOVE* it if you could do something like this again for all of the holiday/Christmas models in the future! :)
Thank you so much! I've actually been working on a holiday horses video since 2021 (it's a lot of work 😅). It won't be *quite* the same as this one, but I hope to have it done shortly after Thanksgiving! I appreciate you watching!
My stablemates _just_ arrived on Saturday the 29th, and I finally got my 2022 Haul video up! (And yep; Maelstrom couldn't wait to be unboxed. He came out as soon as he showed up at the end of September! 😆) Here is the link to my '22 Haul! ua-cam.com/video/Pr-xuB0y-VY/v-deo.html
I enjoyed the stories about each horse. I hope Breyer comes out with a mini Salem, and some of the other ones that you did mock-ups for. And I hope they package them in a set of 3 for a reasonable price as they did in the past. I did find a mini Nightmare and Poltergeist for reasonable prices, and waiting for them to arrive. (Jan Griffiths).
Hi Jan! So exciting you were able to find a mini Nightmare and Poltergeist. I hear you on the boxed set of three; that was such a nice, easy, and affordable way to get the minis! I'd love to see Salem soon also. Some folks have pointed out his mini would look nice on the Tennessee Walking Horse, and I agree! It'll be fun to see who's next! Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much! I think if I had to pick just ONE, it'd be Skullduggery. But I really like all of them for different reasons, and they're so fun as a group!
Yes! I hope to! I'm working hard at collecting all of those Classics but a few have eluded me. I hope to do a "Halloweens past" where I unbox past Halloween models that are new acquisitions for me, a Mini-Me Halloween showcase, and eventually a Classics-scale Halloween models collection tour! I'm so glad you're enjoying the Halloween content!
Thanks so much!! I did an unboxing with Spectre and read his spooky story in my 2023 Halloween Haul video, here: ua-cam.com/video/p5H7oFpHSyU/v-deo.htmlsi=j6ANY0xuwGpsg8fV I might have won a Beowulf, actually.. (?), and if I did, I will unbox and read his story in another haul video. I might do some sort of YT short or "less thorough" video with all the Halloween horses some day, yeah, now that we've added a couple more! I'm also working on one with all the Holiday/Christmas horses.
I just recently got back into collecting and got both 2022 Halloween Horses, the Traditional and Freedom (I still think of them as Classic). I don't like everyone of the Halloween Horses but there are a couple I'd like to get.
Ah yes, I'll probably always call them Classics. I'm excited to see who the new 1:12 is for this year, since we've already seen the 1:9. And the Spooky Stablemates too! (I just love all the Breyer Halloween stuff :D Welcome back to collecting!
Hello! Thank you for your comment. Beowulf is a sensitive subject for me, for a couple different reasons. I really am hoping to see him changed from what the initial released looked like, because that means Breyer was willing to work with all the artists involved. I hope we see a sneak peek of Halloween goodies this weekend (it's BreyerFest!), but I definitely plan on making a 2024 Halloween Haul video and will probably address Beowulf in that one.
Uh oh, Peaches! I'm sorry! I was having issues with a first upload yesterday, and eventually had to replace it with this video. Does this link work by chance? ua-cam.com/video/YL4DgwujnLU/v-deo.html
My Illuminati and Twilight Terror need new batteries. They are the only 2 I have in Traditional size. I have the original 2 sets of 3 stablemates, Mischief Night (stablemate), Casper and Jack (classics foals),and Salem (classics saddlebred), I wish Breyer had packaged all the stablemate Halloween horses the same as they did in 2005/6. I didn't care for the blind bag deal. I bought mine second hand from ebay, and paid more for the individual than I did for the 3 packs, which were $15.99. Rip-off, in my opinion. I collect mainly stablemates. (Jan Griffiths).
The stablemates are so fun to collect, and so much easier to find shelf space for! I just replaced the batteries in my Twilight Terror and it was fun to see him come back to life. I'm on the hunt for a Salem and the foals Casper and Jack, so I'm a little envious of your collection. 😉 I'm also all for boxed sets of three stablemates for a more affordable price, but I suppose you can't blame Breyer for pulling a business move in realizing they can sell more singles for more money per piece than dealing with the sets. I get it! My wallet just doesn't like it. Haha! Happy Halloween!
Aw! Well, over here are realistic models, and over here are clearware decorators, and over here are Halloween models, Christmas tack, animal-inspired colors, and even models with flowers on them. There are all sorts of models for all sorts of people, and that's okay if you don't like certain ones!
The horse nerd inside me is so happy right now, seeing all these awesome designs for these Halloween horses!
Hooray! The model horse nerd inside me was so excited to make it! Thanks so much for watching!
How does this wonderful video not have more views?
Aw! Haha 🥰 It probably didn't help that the video--after much technological drama--didn't officially go live with a fully-functioning version until 11pm MT on October 30th. Maybe everybody is over Halloween now. Rubbish, says I! Halloween love all year long!

Awesome video! So much time and effort put into this, and it shows! Good job!
Thank you so much! It definitely was a lot of work, but I'm happy people enjoy watching!
You got them all!!
Thank you thank you! It was definitely a labor of love. Let's get you a Cryptic!
My favorite is Frankensteed, even though he is not a Halloween horse he is still very cool. He is my holy grail.
YES.. I would LOVE to have a Frankensteed one day. He's incredible. Not officially from the series, no, but fits right in! And by the same concept artist as the first Halloween models!

That's amazing! What a wonderful story! He's a really great one, and yours must be full of infinite sentimental value too! 🖤
Awsome video to watch on Halloween! Great job and thanks for sharing another halloween horse must have all 17 now bug! Lol!🤑🤗
Hahah! Well, happy collecting! Each one is a joy to open! Thank you for watching; I'm happy you like the video!

I'm driven now to get all of these! It's hard collecting so many because I love the Christmas ones too!
The Christmas ones are wonderful too! I definitely understand collecting being hard when space and money is involved 😅 We can all only collect what our hearts truly desire! (PS: an Every Christmas Breyer Horse video is currently in the works 🤫)
I love Merry Widow!
Me too! She's so sweet!

What an incredible collection!
Thank you! It's so fun to have them all together!
Best Breyer video ever. Breyer should feature it in the online Breyerfest videos.
Oh wow! Thank you so much! I'm so happy you like it!
The monotone voice makes it all the more spooky! (And I mean that in the best way possible)
haha thank you!

Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it was helpful. Welcome to the hobby!
How did I never see these ?? I have many Breyers horses, but I want these Halloween horses !!
Hooray! I'm happy the video showed you some new models and am happy (sorry? 😅) you caught the Halloween Horse bug!
I absolutely love this podcast style history video! Great content!
So happy you like it! Thanks for watching!!
When will u show the 2022 Halloween unboxing video? I see this year's horse already on your shelf! 🐎🐎

Amazing . . . Just wow!
Thanks so much! I love this series!
You did the future of halloween stablemates and this history of trad halloween horses. Can you do one on classics?
Yes! I hope to! I'm working hard at collecting all of those Classics but a few have eluded me. She's a really good one! The Halloween horses are so fun. Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for all the information. Great video.
I'm so happy you enjoyed it and it was helpful! Thank you for watching!
I love this video! Do you have an updated one with Spectre or will you be making one to include Spectre and now Beowulf?
