Balbir singh sr should be in top 3
Sohail Abbas is a former captain of the Pakistan Hockey Team. He is the highest goal scorer in international field hockey with 348 international goals. A notable player of the field hockey game, he is widely regarded as the 'King of the drag flick'.
Pakistan Junior team manager Samiullah Khan and coach Ayaz Mahmood were not convinced to include him for the 1997 World Cup staged in Milton Keynes - an underwhelming squad that failed to making it to the Junior World Cup semi-finals for the first time in the cup's 25-year history. Finally, he made his debut the following year on the national team and has since become arguably hockey's most prolific goalscorer of all time.
Sohail, who struck 20 goals in 1998, was in terrific form in 1999 when Pakistan won the Azlan Shah Cup for the first time and got silver in Asia Cup. He was leading scorer in 8th Pakistan-India Series (10 goals), 9th Azlan Shah Cup (12 goals) and 5th Asia Cup (16 goals). Of 16 Asia Cup's goals, seven were against Sri

Balbir singh sr scored 5 goals in 1952 final at olympics. Hasan sardar from Pakistan, MD sahid from India, many more players deserve to be in this list. Sohail abbas doesn't qualify for this list. Tahir Zaman was better thN him in scoring goals .
Balveer Singh seniar.sabse.great the

No doubt dehan chnd was a great player but in my views" hockey has totally changed in last 50years "so we can't compare dehan chnd to these players
Secondly we have hardly 2or 3clips of. Dehan chnd. So how can we prove that he was a legend
@@haziqmalik8273Sohail Abbas was great drag flicker but Sohail was not a good defender while shehbaz was a great forword .

Shehbaz Ahmed is greatest of all time. His services for hockey r legendary
Love you sohail Abbas bhi
Dhanraj Pillay at no.9 is bit rough the man is fcuking legend ... I have seen him playing.. he was Messi of his era.. can dribble 3-4 easily ..
Never won anything significant.
@@MD-fr4xt He was considered Maradona of Hockey. Not all legends end up winning cups. It is not a one man game.
@@coolcheeka Thereis no doubt he is a legend of the game. I can name at least 6,7 Pakistani players who were better than him, won trophies and should be in the discussion of top 10 greatest hockey players.
Shahnaz Sheikh, Islahuddin, Samiullah, Kaleemullah, Tanveer Dar, Tahir Zaman to name a few.
@@MD-fr4xt 1998 Asian games gold under his captaincy and many more

Hassan sardar was just too good in his prime for any team .
He used to trick the defenders with fake body lean technique and insane tricks of dribbling and stop and pass shots.
Major Dhyan Chand Singh
One of the most lethal forwards in the history of field hockey, Shahbaz Sr. is undoubtedly Pakistan's pride and in the same league as Hassan Sardar (Pak), Ric Charlesworth (Aus), Stefan Blöcher (Ger), Floris Jan Bovelander (Hol) and Ties Kruize (Hol).
Major dhyanchand bhi center froward the
Agreed
Major dhyan chand-GOAT
