You pronounce Finnish so well already 😄NICE!👍
One thing that makes Finnish easy to start communicating with, is that it's super flexible with it's word order. If you mess some stuff up, you can still be understood if enough context is provided.
I have been binge-watching your videos recently, and I have to say I really like your energy and attitude! 😁 As a finn I feel honoured about this interest to learn finnish 😊 So yes, it would be interesting to see you learning it!
As a kid I once accidentally chose Italian as a language in a videogame, and it sounded so cool to me that I got quite fascinated by it for a while and always chose to play that game in italian from that day on! 😄 I didn't really get to learning it though, because schools only offered German, French and Spanish (in addition to English and Swedish). Maybe I still someday will 🤔
Thank you! You should learn italian while i learn finnish then 😉
You Italians learn to speak finnish much easier than many other natives. Swedes and Germans also.
More difficult for english speakers or Russians.
I won't give you too much engouragement though. There is spoken finnish, but it is based on written finnish. So both to learn. Besides you propably would need a Finn as a friend or partner.
Kurkku juuttui kurkkuun = The cucumber got stuck in the throat. 🙂
ahhaha that's my favorite sentence from now on!
@@mauronicolo89 It really is a great sentence! Also, it demonstrates so clearly a clear difference between English and Finnish - seven words vs. three.
so proud of you
to be = olla
may be = lienee
Even Finns have some difficulties here as many tend to use the word "ollee" (may be) which is not good Finnish.
Great that Mauro took this effort.
Good plan😄👍
Would be fun to see you learning Finnish 👍✊
And no, Hungarian and Finnish are not mutually intelligible.
Estonian is the closest to Finnish.
Mauro pronounse Finnish very good! 😊
Was wrong. The means certain in English. If you want to say exactly that in Finnish, let's talk se baari, se talo. If you don't mean something specific, then no prefix
You are quite right, knowing italian helps with the pronunciation of finnish and vice versa. As a finn i find italian very easy to pronounce, while i do not speak it at all :)
