I just picked this 20" 110 Tactical up used. Mine must be a previous generation because it came with 3 Savage brand 10 round mags. The upside to factory mags is they only protrude half as far, but the downside is they're hard to find and $53 each. 20" is the best choice if you're ever going to hang a can off the muzzle. Mine came with a nice brake, but eventually a can is the plan. The buttery smooth action, trigger, accufit stock, and sub MOA accuracy with match grade ammo make this gun worth twice the price IMHO. Congrats👍
Recently got mine, very disappionted in the action, machining is rough ,bolt will bind.Just finished polishing the bolt and bolt lugs which helped a little.By far nothing like my Remington 700's.
The only thing I would say is to bore scope your rifles. My 110T bore crappy badly to the point where I felt that it might a health hazard - pressure too high. The barrel was replaced with a Criterion barrel. The only good thing about Savage rifles is you can remove them yourself and just have the correct tools to install and headspace the barrel very easy to do in 15-30 minutes.
How are you liking this gun? I just got one a couple weeks ago. Waiting on my scope so that I can take the scope mount off and loctite it/zero everything.
Man I have seen a bunch of these "what comes in the box videos" anyone can figure that out when you google the darn rifle . . . What us viewers want are to see how they perform, and comparisons to the Tikka, Remington, the Howa, etc etc etc.
It would be good for a hunting rifle. It is a little heavier and "tactical" with the oversize bolt handle and ability to take larger AICS magazines. Those wouldn't necessarily be normal features of a hunting rifle, Definitely accurate. If your looking for something to hunt and maybe long range shooting its a great setup.
After comparing my savage barrels to other manufacturers barrels, and after paying for a savage “precision” that wont shoot due to its crappy bore, it is likely i will never buy a savage again.

Thanks and congrats to you as well. I'mm looking for a brake first, then long term finding a can to put on. Thanks for watching!
Just ordered one at my favorite FFL. Super stoked to get my hands on it and crack off the first shot.
Congrats!

I need to pick one of these up nice review bud
Just bought the FDE version in 6.5 Creedmor for 550 minus 100 rebate so 450! Thing is sexy!!!
Who had that good price?
@@SteveZ919 I believe it was Grabagun but I still have not received my check from Savage.
That mag release sucks! I can't wait for Magpul to finally release their Hunter 110 stock for this rifle.

How is it shoot at the end? I am thinking about getting one in 6.5 CM
Good video and a quick question. What scope ring height did you go with? I have the exact same scope that I need to mount on my 110 tactical.
44mm objective you will need medium height rings. shouldn't be an issue since you can adjust comb height on this stock.

I was thinking about buying this model as a hunting rifle. What are your thoughts?

Yes.
Could i use the 308 24" for hunting?
Bigotón Bigotón yes. I use my 110 in .300 win mag for hunting it’s a great rifle for hunting in my opinion.
Most definitely. I took a moose at 400 yards with a 24 inch rifle in 308 with no problem whatsoever.
@@benwebster1899 is it this model if so is the 300 win mag long action in this gun
