Surrounded by water on three sides, Kodi Bengre Beach is a perfect attraction for beach lovers. With the Suvarna River draining into the Arabian Sea, it forms a delta and hence it gets its name as Delta Beach and is also known as a 'sangama' point.
It has a small port for fisheries and is famous for toddy and freshly prepared seafood. Tourists can also take boat trips into the nearby mangroves or just enjoy an afternoon of fresh seafood followed by a stunning sunset. The beach waters are not suitable for swimming as it has sinking sands and the activity could pose major life risks. The road that leads to the beach is narrow and is surrounded by water on both sides. Wear appropriate footwear as it requires climbing down a few rocks to get to the beach.
We got off from Janardhan Hotel in Udupi and boarded an Auto from there to Kodi Bengre. The auto cost is variable. The auto driver was possibly in a good mood, so he took 280 RS from us for the journey. Evening another auto person asked us 400 Rs to get to Udupi Bus stand.
We had our breakfast at Shanti Sagar Udupi, and this episode is about getting to Shaka Surf Club and starting our workation. The Shaka Surf Club serves dosas and idlis for breakfast. Rice + 1 curry + 1 non veg item (fish) + Non veg curry for lunch and dinner. The food is made by the families nearby.

Hey.. Just watched your video reading the shaka surf club title.. First of all thanks for all the information in the video.. Can you please tell how was your overall experience with shaka surf club and in terms of surfing training and accommodation wise?
They were very friendly and as a package it was good doing surfing 🏄♂️ before starting remote work and doing Yoga at sunset for a short break. Also some early morning catch up on Capoeira and Kayaking. It was like a magic getaway away from city life
