- So after fitting my new ladder from safety devices, I decided now I can fit a pair of led work lights to the back of my defender as previously I only had one led work light at the back As the old ladder was in the way restricted me from fitting a pair of lights at the back of my Defender...
With a few alterations I installed A pair of new led work lights for the back of the Defender so handy to have additional lighting for reversing A dark country road, hitching up a trailer or anything else... It was a straightforward job... As I had wiring previously there... and I think it looks so much better! They stylish compact led light... Very bright see how they go as they weren't expensive cost me about £30 from Ebay

Great site Rob. Love the work lights, nice touch on the back of the D. I must admit, I'm a sucker for Optimill too. How did you do your headliner? I have a grotty old white one and would like to cover it with Alcantara or an equivalent. Best, Nick.
The headliner is Genuine Alcantara in My Defender and the same with the sun visors had it about 5 years ago... the original headliner I sold looks brand new... what you can do is take your headliner out and you can carpet it with stretch carpet there's always somebody selling it at the Land Rover shows very straightforward to do... @denzil040709 Got some New Defender Rear Door Hinges from Optimill in black to fit... may do a short video... see what happens Cheers, Rob...👍
@@ROB_THE_DEFENDER I fitted them to mine about three months ago. Will do the front doors next, just have the steel hinge guards currently. The hinges are easy to fit and look great. It would be good to think that insurance companies took Defender door and bonnet security into consideration when quoting. BTW, the bottom one takes the longest and start with the middle one.
