Good to see this review... I've got the updated version.. The desert fox Pro... The insoles are definitely rubbish... I put in meindl Vakuum insole... The boots are now absolutely fantastic... So good I bought a backup brand new pair...

So far I have the Haix cold wet weather boots, Altberg defender boots and bergen boots, meindl desert fox Pro, meindl German army mountain boots, bought them a brand new one last 2 years for really good prices from the bay... I had several pairs of these most comfy boots I've ever worn n hard wearing as well wore these n done miles in them till the soles eventually just started breaking up lasted ages got the hiax high liability boots now good boots bit on the heavey side but a good confidant boot an waterproof aswell not had theese be was the altberg defender also good wanna c how these hiax shape up compared to the altberg .....anyway cheers for the vid
Sorry to hear that. Another UA-camr compares boots'durability against these because they've lasted so long. You may have got a pair which has been in storage a long time or maybe just a faulty pair.
reallly comfortable boot. Saddest portion is rubber part, joining the out sole and upper suede part eventually break down. why is it so?

Hi, I own a pair of these boots. Like them sofar. Does anyone know if these multigriff soles are resolable?
these boots have a hydrolyse problem with the midsoul if u dont wear them for a long time
or its humid they will crumble.

Mine, which were acquired new, disintegrated after a few months. Junk.
