I believe we should up front let our workplaces know that we will not be SCHEDULED to work on sabbaths but are available for medical emergencies. Most persons get at least one day off weekly, We should strive to make it known that ours is automatically the sabbath. Have God choose HIs day and man gets what is left instead of how it is usually done vice verse

She was hit in the nose/face area with a rock that another student threw. This affected her, along with TB a few years later so badly that she was unable to attend school.
