Hugo Boss been killing it last few releases my Scent Elixir comes in today
I wore this as a sample from a store and a lady had to write it down and smelled my wrist. It’s crazy good!
It's great. but the opening to me kinda reminds me of Layton
I've got Envy of FOMO and DUA Covet, and I'd say while FOMO is slightly closer to the real thing, Covet performs much better and has more sandalwood than either the OG or FOMO. IMO, Covet is the way to go, as FOMO is a true parfum and sits incredibly close to the skin and doesn't last that long. Covet kind of blows both out of the water.
I had Gucci Envy back in the day and The Envy of Fomo is very close. By chance I’m actually wearing it today.
You are correct: Absolu is an amazing and VERY long lasting creamy/spicy leather frag, best for cold weather. Purchased mine in Paris and sprayed it on while going out on the town with family. They complained that it was “too strong!” - only had 2-3 spray. It’s borderline nuclear, especially when body temp goes up. Boss is moving away from their signature granny apple pie vibe. At CDG international airport Boss also had a sales stand for their higher priced signature line. Great stuff too (their fougère scent is top notch) but pricey.

Absolu is definitely in my top 3 for the year and may wind up being my favorite so far. Only got to wear it once so far, but got a random compliment off of it! I love the elixir, but I think this one topped it by a wide margin for me.
I'll need to try boss bottle absolu, I ordered infrared edp instead of the edt by mistake and man the edp has absolutely no lasting power on my skin 😬
