Cradle was my first symphonical "extreme metal" band and i am kind of proud that they are creating good music over all this years, their way to create melodies that sticks in the head is just great. Dany is a great vocalist and i love his works. Thanks for reacting A&P !
this track kicks ass.. looking forward to the new album. saw them live in sydney just over a month ago and they were amazing.. cradle of filth forever.
Filth have become very clean and melodic havent they. Not bad though 🤘 Guys you have to check out the new The Halo Effect single, "march of the unheard". Epic old in flames is so strong in that one 🔥
they were always very melodical and theatrical imo. this one doesn't sound different to earlier songs if you ask me, maybe a bit more catchy in the refrain but I like it.
This is probably the most barebones modern cradle song they’ve released and I knew Necromantic Fantasies was pointing to this direction. To me it does nothing exciting and the blastbeat section just feels so tact on. I’m going to miss the exciting leads that Richard brought to this band….it’s sad because I don’t want to hate this…
You have to remember that this is probably going to be the second track on the album so that song is always on the nose, Remember Gilded Cnnt? Also new record label, guitarist, and female vocalist... So yeah
You mean it's a Gothic Metal song like every other Cradle song since nyphetamine they have not been black metal in years not complaining just what Danni said he wanted to pull away because of the negative press a the time and h likes Gothic music a lot as well. Many goth love black metal still many don't not really any rules to what goth listen too or create anyway, Motionless in White Chris is goth but the band is not in anyway musicaly maybe influenced by goth rock, with the odd gothic metal song.
I never once mentioned black metal. To me they have been an extreme metal band without a single defining genre behind their sound. This is a specific sounding gothic song.
Stunning in its aesthetics and sound, welcome back Cradle of Filth. Glad you're back reviewing them. My favourite band

Now i need to listen to "Malice through the looking glass (1996!)" again, and again, and again ;)
The beginning reminds me a lot saffron's curse from midian, now i need to listen to midian on repeat 😊

Good track. As a long-time fan, this is easily in my top 5 tracks. It's definitely the new Halloween season theme song. Cheers, gentlemen.

Haven't seen you guys popup on my Timeline in years, it seems that UA-cam had unsubscribed me T.T
Glad to have you back
I have been with this band since their first album. I absolutely adore them.
Same principle..vampire ..dusk ..cruelty I was a big fan then I dropped off for a bit I've come back for the last few albums
The blast beat section was Dark Funeral esque

How do these guys get through the lines "she comes with malignant perfection / mass erection" without at least smiling :D
Dark Tranquillity??

@ i personally enjoyed that song and is still far more memorable than this.
Better-listen-than-watch song. I dislike the video maybe 'coz i'm not into halloween stuff. Soundwise it definitelly wins.

Cradle just went with what sounded better.
Black metal was a fad.
