@@olivier3847 Hi, if you did not see any wartime picture showing a tropical tunic with button at the collar, it's because such a thing did not exist, as simple as that. Please, do not confuse tropical tunics with lightweight summer tunics, that have a button at the collar. People make this confusion all the time. The only existing patterns of the tropical tunic are all shown in my video.

It is in not a tropical tunic, they made a mistake. The third type tropical tunic has straight flaps on pockets but still open collar like both previous types.
