I was looking to tie a new fly using 14 or 16 hook and here you are Mr.fly that I will tie. Thank-you as I bow...tight line.

Nice. I really like the Orvis straight/big eye hooks or the Daiichi 1110 for my spinner patterns. Especially for Trico patterns.

4 dozen and you still run out? That’s a lot of time on the water, good for you my friend.

Tim comes in second place in costing me money, behind my wife. Me: Watch fly tying video, not bother to check material inventory, go to online fly shop, purchase. Repeat.

Tim, would you please do a video on how to create a tail with three fibbets? Craven has one but it's hard to see how he ties-in the fibets to create three nicely spaced tail segments. Thanks!

The thread loop to separate tails is going to save me a lot of frustration! Unfortunately I've been trying to do it Oliver Edwards style, but apparently I don't have the patience or 40 years of experience 😉. I'm also going to lose less yarn to the Roomba thanks to the hacker plier tip 👍

I bought some what says to be polyprop for the wings and it gets wet and the flies always sinks on me. any suggestions?

Thank you for the great video! Is it possible to use calf hair for the wings and will it float as good as the original material?

I prefer dun hackle tied figure eight style for the wings...... you want translucency for the wings. Calf tail or snowshoe might float good but it’s too opaque. These are the best fly tying videos I have ever seen.

@@Grouse2275 Thank you for the answer. I totally agree with you these videos are the best.
