- My fishing rod got fully stuck. In this video I go over some common ways to get your rod unstuck. I would not recommend the last three methods but desperate times call for desperate measures. Lesson learned, always take your rod apart and clean after fishing. Thanks for watching and please comment below if you have any other methods or would like to add anything.
Do u have to put Vaseline on ur rod before u use it

My Daiwa 3 peice Balistic use to get stuck sometimes...
After i shoot down my poles with water i let air dry..
Then i wipe it down wit Enddust Go extra on the joints da thing help...
You could have tried some penetrating fluid like WD-40, PB Blaster, or Liquid Wrench. Just wrap the rod in some paper to keep off excess liquid. Also, try just cooling only the inner ferrule
Thanks! I tried wd40 and PB blaster overnight but still needed a wrench. Perhaps another day would have helped. And yeah maybe just the inner ferrule should have been cooled. Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼🤙🏼

Yeah it was my last hope lol. Definitely got some scratches but seems to be fishable. It seems to be low on the rod and not too deep that it would cause any weakness in the blank. Can’t believe how stuck it was!
What I learned to prevent it is to not shove the 2 parts together, always twist turn so air can slowly escape. I had the same issue as well and maaaaan maxi flex gloves works the best

What we recommend here in Pennsyltucky is you get yourself some good old black powder or whatever other explosives you got in the old
ladies kitchen. Next, run on down to your local ordinance shop and pick yourself self up some of that cannon fuse by the foot . Drill a hole in the butt cap just big enough for the fuse and a small powder funnel. Use the powder funnel to dump a few ounces of explosive into the butt end of your fishing rod, then glue in the fuse. Before lightning the fuse, make sure your rod is at least 1000 yards from any daycare, school, or government buildings, and pointing away from anthing alive that you cant throw on the grill or turn into stew. The proceed to light the fuse and run like a bat out of hell.
Sounds like you are from the foothills of the great TMI. I’m guessing that you are extra brain smart from living so close to the reactors. Maybe I could get you to do the job while I seek shelter. Another option would be to hook a flatly lock drag and let that big ole catty pull it apart. You would have a good fight dinner and your 3pc would be a 10pc because that cat would crash that tiny pole

I used WD40 and let it stood for awhile. Solved!

lol I lost my top part of my majorcraft the other day. It came loose as I was casting. I jumped in to try and save it and I almost drowned. So if anyone finds it at Laparouse bay lmk

Dang! Did the line break? I would think you could reel it back in with the line
@@ARFFWorld The line broke at the swivel so there was nothing to hold it
@@lowkeyfrankd It was windy and some swells. But no problem, my wife said she'll get me another one. Maybe a good idea to tape it together when fishing next time
