- One week after her Eurovision performance, Eden Golan performed the original (more "political" as the EBU thought) lyrics to her song "Hurricane" at a special event in Tel Aviv's Hostage Square.
The event drew thousands of supporters who rallied for the return of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

You realise that you are “standing with” a song that supports the genocide of the Palestinian people and that you “stand with” the murder of over 40,000 people. Now, I realise that the attack on Israel by Hamas was unjustified and Israel has every right to retaliate, but do you really “stand with” the killing of 40,000 Palestinian deaths compared to the roughly 2000 Israeli deaths?
@@MewKlore that song has nothing to do with the response of Israel. It has to do with the 7th of October, the brutal deaths of innocent Israelis and kidnapping. It’s 30k deaths but you must understand that half of that number 15k are the deaths of terrorists. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t count the deaths of Hamas members as they have no value and aren’t innocent. It’s a war and death happens but understand that these deaths happen because of Hamas and not Israel. Israel has no intention of killing innocent but only targeting Hamas. Hamas hide within their civilians and uses them as human shields, fire rockets and hide their weapons in schools, hospitals and houses. It’s difficult for Israel to target Hamas when they use their own civilians as shields.
The response of Israel is completely fair and any country would’ve done the same if not worse considering there are still hostages held captive. Israel wants the hostages back and the end of Hamas, nothing more. Israel have wanted ceasefire for the return of the hostages many times but Hamas is the one to keep turning it down. So instead of listening to social media about false information, hating Jews and supporting Hamas try to see the truth about this war.
Yes the deaths are awful but blame Hamas for them and not Israel. free Gaza from Hamas.

First of all, thank you so much for the support, you have no idea how much it means to us.
I, as an Israeli Jew, actually think that there is no need to put special emphasis on who is Jewish, who is Christian, who is Muslim and who is of any religion. People use the words of Jews no matter how much they try to suppress it, even the biggest anti-Semites use Facebook and WhatsApp and on their phone which includes Jewish and even completely Israeli operating systems.
Maybe it's because I've never lived in another country, but starting to go over the history of Judaism will just make such a thing start to look like school material, which you solve, answer and finish studying. If you continue to live it and come across things while living, the connection is closer and it is harder not to relate to it.

Well, we might have to ask, why do people have hated Jews more than other religious groups? It has been always a question how a folk like Germany and many parts of Europe could hate a group so much that they could commit such a terrible genocide. We often consider Hitler as the only motivator, but we don't look that even the regular person were defending the motives to commit this genocide.
We could learn a lot about the current Israel vs Palestina situation to explain what has happened in the 40s, the two main things I would say we could learn from this situation:
- You have a whole country (Israel) where people are normal, but are still able to victimize themselves and commit a horrible genocide and the propaganda is so insane that they 99% of the Israeli will defend the horror of the actions they are committing. The people have true intrinsic motivations for killing babies and are able to defend it.
- This is the first time in post world war 2 history that we might understand the motives how we could hate the Jewish so much that people can have anti semitism motives. The Jewish folk who admire and approve the genocide are probably one of the most horrible people this earth knows.
I don't want to have any hatred spread out. But, just want to show you that we sometimes can look into the present to understand the history and the other way around.

The production did not approve the song because they were afraid that Israel would win, and after Aden won the semi-final on Thursday the judges received an order from the production to ruin her victory. Also, song number 6 on purpose and the other favorites Croatia France Switzerland at the end of the competition everything was planned in advance
This song is not meant to be a winner in a perverted contest. It's a heartbreaking testimony of history and we can appreciate it outside of the Eurovision in both versions.

She sung dynamics with her awesome voice , specially the chorus part is gone Viral on the UA-cam shorts , Millions of people are listening.
I don't know how the Judges did not give her the highest score.
The Finnish jury gave Eden 0 points, the audience gave 12. She should have won with this priceless piece of music & Eden's voice and performance. Had the juries over the Europe not been so biased she would have won with a wide margin. I console myself with the fact that no one can take this masterpiece away from us and it will live forever.
